NOTE
•In the previous meeting, in a game with 20 lead changes, 10 ties and no lead greater than
six, we only got 14 fourth quarter points (5-5 FG) from Kobe Bryant, including a 22’ jump
shot to give the Lakers a 96-92 lead with 2:29 left in the game, and after O.J. Mayo and
Steve Nash exchanged three-pointers, Dirk Nowitzki cut our lead back to two with a
driving layup, but Kobe would again hit a long jumper with under a minute to go to get the
Lakers back up by four and eventually pull out a 103-99 victory at American Airlines Center.
Kobe Bryant finished with a game-high 38 points (13-21 FG, 4-5 3FG, 8-10 FT) and
Steve Nash added a season-high 20 points (7-12 FG, 4-5 3FG, 2-2 FT). Antawn Jamison
(13 points) and Jodie Meeks (11 points) rounded out the Lakers in double-figures, while
Dwight Howard posted nine points and a game-high tying 13 rebounds. The Mavericks were
led by Dirk Nowitzki’s 30 points (11-19 FG, 4-4 3FG, 4-5 FT) and game-high tying
13 rebounds, while Vince Carter (15 points) and Elton Brand (14 points, 8 rebounds) were
the only other Mavericks players to finish with double-digit scoring games.

Both team desperately need this win. Nash might be out on this one.
But I like our chances with a healthy Howard and Gastrong. Kobe will be better health-wise too. _________________ You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take. |

It will be good day for those who say he is not a laker. Well he is getting his jersey hanged up there. And very deservedly.
Thanks for 3 rings big fella. _________________ Unceasing change turns the wheel of life, and so reality is shown in all its many forms. Dwell peacefully as change itself liberates all suffering sentient beings and brings them great joy. |

It's time for Howard to take the torch from Shaq. Officially. _________________ You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take. |

btw series is not tied at 1 - 1, it's us leading 2 - 1, we won both games @ Dallas and they won against us at home. _________________
