NOTE
•The Clippers opened the contest by scoring the game’s first 15 points, and despite we was
cutting their deficit to three multiple times in the second quarter, the Clippers would
storm back to lead by as many as 28 points in the second half in a 125-101 Clippers
wire-to-wire victory at our house... The loss marks the Lakers third straight defeat to the
Clippers, matching the Clippers longest win streak against the Lakers since they moved
to Los Angeles in 1984. Kobe finished with team-highs in points (20) and assists (11).
Dwight Howard posted 18 points and 8 rebounds, while Antawn Jamison (17 points),
Jodie Meeks (13 points) and Metta World Peace (11 points) rounded out the five Lakers
players in double-figures. With an 18-foot jump shot with 5:53 left in the first quarter,
Steve Nash surpassed 17,000 career points, and finished with seven points and five assists.

I don't see us beating the Clippers. They might sweep us the series this season.. -sigh-
I'd be happy to eat crow later tho. Hopefully the Lakers can win this. I'm sure the game will be very intense. LA showdown. _________________ You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take.
Griffin, Jordan, and Barnes all missed Friday's practice and are DTD. Their status is unknown for Sunday's game. Griffin has a calf injury and Jordan has a hip injury. Don't know about Barnes though.

Lies. They probably made those up to rest their starters for playoff like Miami Heat is doing.. _________________ You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take.
If we can beat the Grizzlies, we can beat the Clippers. The Jazz are playing the Nuggets at home, where the Nuggets are 24-3 iirc, and so I expect them to lose. If we beat the Clippers here, AND we win in that Portland road game back to back, and the Jazz lose I would say our chances of getting into the playoffs increase to 90%, in spite of our games against San Antonio and Houston.

Really? I hope they sit out, it might be an easy W for us then.
BTW. SilverBullet do you know anything about Hollins? I know he was ejected last game for his headlock on Goran. Is he suspended? _________________ http://tinyurl.com/zhjax5w

they won't miss the game, players magically heal when its time to play the Lakers

I wish the Jazz's next game was at Denver. They're actually at Golden State on Sunday. Still, for a bad road team like Utah, it's very possibly a loss.
If true, then the lakers have to win on Sunday at all costs. A loss on Sunday would only increase the tensions in that locker room. Energy will already be high from the game....and anything can be said in the heat of the moment.
The Clippers have looked beatable lately. Still, it's a tough match-up for us. We need Kobe to be hot. Pau and Dwight need to be dominant inside. Dwight can't get outplayed again.

No such thing for us. We have struggled mightily against short handed teams in recent years.

They don't need to make up injuries to miss practice. They can miss practice for any reason they want. I'm guessing they are just minor injuries and they decided it would be better to rest them for the next game.

Gs will try their best to beat Utah, otherwise they wouldn't be so comfortable in the playoffs, they have sas, okc and lakers remaining

Don't remind me whether the Clippers are short handed or not we need to beat them _________________ http://tinyurl.com/zhjax5w
