NOTE
•In previous meeting, it was a 25-point deficit and scored 20 unanswered points down
the stretch to defeat the Hornets 108-102 at New Orleans Arena. In our largest
come-from-behind victory since overcoming a 30-point deficit against the Mavericks in
December of 2002, the Lakers received strong efforts from both Kobe Bryant
(game-high 42 points, 7 rebounds, 12 assists) and Dwight Howard (20 points, 15 rebounds,
3 steals, 4 blocks) as they erased an 18-point fourth quarter deficit. Jodie Meeks scored
19 points (12 fourth quarter points on 4-of-4 3FG) on 6-of-11 shooting (5-9 3FG) off the
bench while Metta World Peace rounded out the Lakers in double-figuers with 11 points
(3-5 3FG) and two steals.

There's only 5 games left. Right now, it looks like we're not going to make the playoff. No Lakers fans wanted a day like this.
In the beginning, everything was exciting and wonder because everyone thought that we just assembled the best team in the NBA. A team that hopefully can bring home a few more championship trophies. But everything went wrong so far. The passing of Dr. Buss, almost everyone on the team has been injured, a team that lacks chemistry and cohesion, and a team that is embarrassingly trying to fight for a playoffs spot.
But this is what Dr. Buss envisioned. Maybe not the current situation, but to put together a team like this were his vision. This is his ideal. An ideal of a super team that is exciting to watch and a team that can win championship. Unfortunately Dr. Buss didn't get a chance to watch this team till the end.
But if you love Dr. Buss and respect him as a greatest owner ever, then you shouldn't give up on OUR team at the most hardest time. Don't be a laughingstock for other fanbase to laugh at. We need to be happy that we get to see such a wonderful assembled team. And to witness the last greatness of Kobe Bryant before he hangs it up. Don't think about the negative, just think about the positive. Common, we got Nash, Howard, Kobe, Pau, and Metta! They ain't scrubs. Those are guys are great basket players; and they're probably future HOF(s). You know who I'm talking about.
Who care if things are not working out right now even it looks like it's going to end soon. Just keep on believing and hoping that our team can make the playoff even tho the odds are against us right now. If you're a proud Lakers' fan, then follow Dr. Buss path of being a winner. Winners don't give up. They keep on fighting until until they win. If we don't win this year, next year we will. But for now, we're still in the fight to win. _________________ You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take.

This is a must win, we have to blow them out so our starters can get some rest and play with some energy on the second night of the b2b _________________ http://tinyurl.com/zhjax5w
Best case scenario we come out with a sense of urgency, and just annihilate the Pelicans so Kobe can finally rest and Peace can get some conditioning. Probably what will happen Lakers will win around 5-7 points with it going down to the wire and Kobe playing heavy minutes.
Blow this game out early and take the W to Portland on Wednesday to get another one. _________________

Kobe definitely need to play less than 30 minutes in this game. Otherwise he'll be gassed in Portland game. _________________ You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take.
