Needless to say, offense is our big issue. Pau + Nash a combined 12-30 will not get it done needless to say. The Nash deal is looking more horrible and horrible, since he's got 2 more years.

Nash needs some time to get into rhythm, I think he'll produce more in game 2

With that LG will blame this game on Pau

He deserves it

I love your agenda posting

You have an agenda too, it goes both ways.

I am partial to everyone, I just hate how people on here will pack the blame on one player when it's a team sport. That's just stupid to me.

so is tug-of-war but if you went against 5 adults and 1person on your team was a 3 year old... you can pretty much point it why you're covered in mud.

Our coach is not a smart man.
l

He wants to know how many games it'll take before running him into the ground.

He is trying to be the first coach to run 5 All stars into the ground

I am pleased with the Lakers trolling the Spurs a bit at the end there. I mean, Spurs went hack-a-Howard when they were up 14 with 1:42 remaining, so why not?

D'Antoni willfully went away from what worked before.

Starting Nash and Blake in the same backcourt was a bad idea. Nash just wasn't ready, and killed us offensively. Especially when we wasted possessions with him pounding the ball and then missing.

Spurs looked completely beatable; 3 things did us in:

1) Paus mental passivity

2) Nash missing very makeable shots

3) Hustle plays. Needed more offensive rebounds and needed to get more of the loose balls.

And a lack of offensive contribution from Jamison, Nash, and Blake.

Getting more of a contribution from others is important, but to me those three were the most important factors. The other guys will feed off the stars.

In fact, Pau needs to realize he is the best offensive option on this team, and he has to be more aggressive!

The *purs are shooting 37% for the game and winning by 13! Nice officiating!

Lakers turned over the ball 18 times. Spurs 9 TO's. officiating had nothing to do with controlling the rock.

Starters:
Nash+Blake+Gasol+MWP+DH=41REB+15ASST+69PTS
Green+Parker+Duncan+Leonard+Splitter=32REB+15ASST+51PTS

The problem.... the bench.

So, why are you blaming Nash&Pau? Yes, their shooting was a problem, but this game was lost in the bench.

Given our thin bench, our starters simply have to do more; and they did not do enough
