But you're okay with Davis (in his 2nd year I believe) being in his top 5 list? Paul George has gotten better every year and is playing at a VERY high level this year. |

It's not going to matter who does the game threads. The team isn't very good. With Kobe they will be average. |

Draftexpress had Anthony Davis' profile down pretty well:
"Standing 6-10 in shoes, with a 7-4 wingspan, and arguably the most impressive blend of athletic tools we've seen in a big man prospect in our nine years evaluating the NBA draft, Davis is one of the most physically gifted players on this planet at the moment.
He runs the floor incredibly well, is outrageously quick and explosive off his feet, moves extremely smooth and fluidly, and perhaps best of all, is more than willing to use his gifts to his advantage on seemingly every possession."

Agreed. He needs to bring superstar impact performances that lead to playoff series wins |
I don't think anybody is putting up a HOF list. These are just guys that people see as the best, right now. Not career-wise.
If that was the case, Kobe would be ahead of all these guys.

Of course not but that's just a knee jerk reaction to tonight's game. The Paul George talk has been everywhere from people who are desperate to see anyone that isn't LeBron at the top of the list. |

Anthony Davis is gonna be a monster...He is Dwight Howard pre-injury with shooting touch. |

No, his game doesn't remind me of Dwight. Davis has much better hands than Dwight. He has, as you pointed out, much better touch than Dwight. He moves without the ball much better than Dwight. He has a higher bball iq (at least at comparable ages) than Dwight. He seemingly prefers to play on the wing or outside the post whereas Dwight likes to post.
Defensively, I think he is a better shot-blocker than Dwight. Alot of Dwight's shotblocking is based of hyper athleticism. While Davis is athletic, he has great timing and reaction.
Honestly, Davis reminds me of a longer Blake Griffin with shooting touch (making up the less explosiveness with the longer length) mixed with a little Aldridge on offense. Defensively, I'm not sure who Davis reminds me of. Draftexpress compared him to Tyson Chandler, but I do not see that. |

Davis is Hakeem lite in my eyes. Slender center, moves like a cat, incredible recovery time (the blocks, the steals are there), has a nice shooting touch (great mechanics for a big guy, very fluid and confident when taking jumpshots, especially in this day of age of the Howards). Sure the footwork and the magnificent postplay isn't there yet, but jesus he's what, 20? Excellent player. |

Davis is Garnett, not hakeem. Not russell. Not anyone else.
He is garnett. _________________ Kobe |

Also a good comparison. Hopefully he is saner than KG and doesn't have an obsession with short, white PGs. |

Nah, I'll be back. I still have a better record than last year's team. _________________

There's something wrong with this sentence. Find it!
Protip: Begins with a "t" and ends with a "t". _________________
