Now Lin isn't even close to the same player knight is =)

Lin has been given every chance to showcase his skill and he keeps getting worse

And I'm a Lin fan

Lin would probably be back on the rockets next year if they strike out on dragic (lin can back up Beverly)

LMAO, Lin never really got the chance to showcase his skill since Linsanity.
First Melo, then Harden and Kobe, even have no chance now when Kobe is injured. We can only see glimpse of that in Houston when Harden is out which Lin score 20, 30 pts easily.

Lin played pretty well. He made a bad decision on the 2nd 3. I haven't watched Knight enough to know if he can turn it up in clutch time as much as he did tonight. He had a tough shooting Knight until late in the game. He has nice handles, I think Lin plays better D. Knight came up big.

I don't think Lin wants to go back to Houston.

2 years ago knight was a bust(know as the guy who gets dunked on)

Last year knight was putting up empty stats (high points, bad %)

This year knight is a borderline all-star (kidd has been working with him)

I've said this about Lin for 3 years, without a good mid range shot, Lin will fail as a starter (at least 42% from midrange)

Sounds like a good mentor really matters.

Would be nice if Nash was around.

How does going to Harvard have anything to do with ones Intelligence ? Lin was a privledged snobby kid who played ball there. I know plenty of Rich kids who went to Harvard, but didn't even score 800 on their SAT test.

But Lin is not one of them. He has high SAT score. If you don't have high SAT, you still can't get in the Harvard even if you are a great basketball player.

What does that have to do with Lin?

And not that I don't believe you but having spent some time with a fair number of Hahvahhd folks, I'd like to see some of your empirical evidence of the <800 score gang. Actually, I did run into one a while ago but he was an Inuit Eskimo.

I think Kidd improves his game.

His first year in the Bucks, the team was the worst in the East.
He played 33mins and his FG and 3pt weren't better than Lin.

Lin scored a PERFECT on his math SAT. Book it.

That he did.

Apparently didn't do as well on the written but still had a pretty good score of 1428.

Davis is a free agent that may walk for a big offer this summer.

If we can get something of value for him, then we should do it.

And I'd trade Randle if he was the piece needed to get us someone like Durant or Davis. (not gonna happen though)

The only untradable piece is Kobe because he must retire a Laker.

What a strange night. The bench finished the game, Young missed three FTs, and Lin shot 2/12 .

I thought last time we went to OT BS said he always believed that the starters should always finish?

Agreed I don't really see lakers spending that kind of money on him when they are gonna be fishing for some big free agent.

We also have Black and Kelly tied up, so it's not like there is a dire need at his position.

I'd still love to keep him, but I think he'll get a great offer elsewhere that he'd just have to take.

Knight: 24 pts. 8 assists 7 reb.

As I said earlier, LAL should try and set up a trade with MIL:
Hill + Lin + Kelly + pick for Knight + Middleton

No I definitely did not. But my point was that in a lot of these Ivy league schools, you don't necessarily have to be a genius to gain admission. Money can get you in. Now once in, you have to do some what well or you will flunk out. Lin did not, so maybe in general he may be Intelligent. But as far as ON the court...Line is as Dumb as a Box of Rocks.

Really? Don't think any Ivy school can risk their reputation for money.
