I wanted to say something bad about NO/Oklahoma so here goes;
Doesn't Desmond Mason have the ugliest shot in the league? |

Both are fugly. It's amazing they have gotten as far as they have with such goofy mechanics. _________________ "Why do you think bad things happen, anyway???" "So we have something good to look forward to."

Ugly shots that go in? Does it really matter? _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that." ~~Martin Luther King Jr.~~ |

It's up there in ugliness, but Marion is the champ of ugly shooting, with Josh Childress as runner-up. |

Figures tonight he makes his first three-pointer of the year with that crazy-ass shot. |

So true.
Although Marion's works for him.
Mason's usually hurts him, IMO. |

As long as it works. Funny that Marion goes 4-9 from 3 tonight, and Mason goes 8-13 dropping 21 on the Lakers. Give me those ugly numbers any day. There was an incident earlier this year when a fan was heckling Mason for his ugly free throw shooting form. Byron Scott proceded to answer back with something along the lines of "As long as it works!" when Mason sank both. |

Mason:
37.8% FG
26.2% 3PT (career, he's only taken 4 this season)
67% FT
Marion:
51.3% FG
34.3% 3PT (career)
83% FT
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Byron can talk to the hecklers all he wants, but this is pretty much what
I was talking about when I said at least Marion's works |

Or Sasha's 0 for 6 or 1 for 7. 2 for 10 would be a "career" game for Sasha.
Tell me how can Sasha game after game miss so many wide-open shots. It's really shocking. And why in God's name did we draft this guy when there are literally dozens of white guys in Europe who CAN shoot?
Sasha has got to be the worst-shooting starting backcourt player in Laker History. He should be locked in a gym with a shooting coach 3 hours a day. If he doesn't improve, send the punk packing! |
