Unfortunately that reasoning would never stop the conservatives on the court, because they know Biden would never do it.
They are going to rule in Trump’s favor, with some (bleep) reason like it’s up to congress to convict and remove him from office. Meanwhile we know Trump would never be convicted by the Senate, why would he? Who would vote to convict knowing Trump could just legally have them killed for it to “protect the country as an Official Act.”
The justices will really (bleep) around and find out when they rule, or hint to rule, against King Trump on anything and he starts threatening THEIR lives. |

CNN Poll: Trump maintains lead over Biden in 2024 matchup as views on their presidencies diverge
Quote: | Looking back, 55% of all Americans now say they see Trump’s presidency as a success, while 44% see it as a failure. In a January 2021 poll taken just before Trump left office and days after the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, 55% considered his time as president a failure. |
Quote: | Assessing Biden’s time in office so far, 61% say his presidency thus far has been a failure, while 39% say it’s been a success. That’s narrowly worse than the 57% who called the first year of his administration a failure in January 2022, with 41% calling it a success. |
This scares me. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

It will be close. But there was a Marist poll a few days ago where Biden led (and he led in both their registered and likely voter model, with the latter being the bigger lead), but no one seemed to care about that one. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid! |

A “Democrat” that regurgitates, believes in, and supports Republican talking points.
Since you are in CA. Just vote and register as a Republican BBB.
Whether you are lying to yourself or the rest of us when you say, “I’m a Democrat”. It really doesn’t matter.
What you say, and what you stand for aligns with the Republican Party. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Just the comment that Trump's domestic policies are better than Biden's alone is demonstrative of that; even calling it simply ill-informed would be a stretch. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Two of multiple negatives to Trump's domestic policy handling; and that's not even getting into the stripping of people's basic rights (something that would be paramount to any actual, true democrat).
So, you have the above mentioned negatives at the hands of Trump's domestic policy. Conversely, you have the incredible (and historical in some respects) positive accomplishments for Biden in regards to unemployment, job creation and economic recovery post-COVID.
No democrat is going to ignore all of that, regardless of how they claim they voted previously. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Threats will not dissuade the Orange one. The only thing that will stop Trump is time in the cross bar hotel. I wish Merchan would do what others seem afraid to do, jail him. Disinfect spray him, perform an anal check, and wet his hair. I know that wishful thinking from one who doesn't have to do it but one can wish.

New Trump interview with TIME Magazine. Here are the scary lowlights and link to article below. It's the Project 2025 Christo-Fascist plan on Trump steroids. Vote for fascist dictator who seeks to be above the law and wants to turn women into chattel because Biden is "weak" (because he doesn't act like a raging narcissist promising to destroy anyone who disagrees with him and seeks bi-partisanship and International coalitions). Also, (bleep) BBB and anyone who would actually vote for lying, pathetic, POS criminal Trump. Whoever you are, you're as bad as him.
Quote: | Angry Staffer 🌻 @Angry_Staffer
I’ve written a few pieces on Project 2025 now, but this interview goes way more in depth than previous reporting on Trump’s plans. He says he:
- would let red states monitor and prosecute women who get abortions
- won’t commit to defending NATO nations
- would fire attorneys who won’t prosecute his political opponents
- would suspend posse comitatus and deploy the military on US soil
- would end the pandemic preparedness office
- would fire thousands of civil servants
- would pardon all of the J6 rioters
- would try to make law enforcement officers immune from prosecution
If this doesn’t scare the living (bleep) out of you, you aren’t paying attention. |
Quote: | What emerged in two interviews with Trump, and conversations with more than a dozen of his closest advisers and confidants, were the outlines of an imperial presidency that would reshape America and its role in the world. To carry out a deportation operation designed to remove more than 11 million people from the country, Trump told me, he would be willing to build migrant detention camps and deploy the U.S. military, both at the border and inland. He would let red states monitor women’s pregnancies and prosecute those who violate abortion bans. He would, at his personal discretion, withhold funds appropriated by Congress, according to top advisers. He would be willing to fire a U.S. Attorney who doesn’t carry out his order to prosecute someone, breaking with a tradition of independent law enforcement that dates from America’s founding. He is weighing pardons for every one of his supporters accused of attacking the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, more than 800 of whom have pleaded guilty or been convicted by a jury. He might not come to the aid of an attacked ally in Europe or Asia if he felt that country wasn’t paying enough for its own defense. He would gut the U.S. civil service, deploy the National Guard to American cities as he sees fit, close the White House pandemic-preparedness office, and staff his Administration with acolytes who back his false assertion that the 2020 election was stolen. |

And once they have those powers they are never giving them back without bloodshed.
Those staying home or protest voting against Biden in November are playing a dangerous game. If they are allowed back in power and implement this Project 2025 stuff, you’re not getting these rights back in your life time. |

In fairness to BigBaller, he stated he wouldn't vote for Trump, that he just wouldn't vote period. While one could argue that not voting for Biden is technically a vote for Trump, it's not at all the same as actually voting for and endorsing him.
Additionally, while I understand mods deleting actual insults, deleting BBB's other comments and simply labeling them as "lies and propaganda" doesn't do much for the integrity of this thread being an honest place for true political discussion were differing points of view are encouraged; it just comes off as censorship of dissenting views. If BBB's or anyone else's comments are genuinely lies and propaganda, it is easy to point that out with facts, and that is how the discussion should go versus just erasing anything that is viewed as problematic. Otherwise you guys may as well lock this thing up or relabel it The Democrat Echo Chamber. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Frightening stuff.
This is yet another instance of the failure of the mainstream media to report what Trump is planning to do. I bet the number of articles and tweets written about Joe Biden's choice of footwear far exceeds the number written about Project 2025. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid! |

Also likely they will get Alito and Thomas to retire and install two young ultra right wing judges. Not that they will need the courts at that point, but they will have it locked up for 30-40 years if they need it. |
