And Best Sound Mixing. People really like to hear Queen riffs at the Oscars, I guess.

What a joke.

What a joke.

It's a painful-bad choice.

Best editing to Bohemian Rhapsody, as well. This isn't a good sign for the non-BoRhap supporters out there.

As an editor this is appalling.

Well technically Bohemian Rhapsody is a very impressive film, story issues aside.

What stood out to you this year? Doesn't have to be nominated.

A Marvel movie beats Wes Anderson. Now that's an upset, but I'll take it.

Spiderman had a ton of support among the critic class. Looks like Academy folks agreed.

Basically going to form so far. And yes, it's suspect that a movie that many didn't like and that was in directorial hell, "Bohemian Rhapsody", is going to win 4 Oscars tonight.

As long as it's not Best Pic, I guess.

No. Malek should have Best Actor locked up, though.

Yup, that's been the buzz.

It served as the overture to Incredibles 2. I dug it, it was clever. Although, from the list of nominees it's the only one I saw.

One of my biggest disappointments about the Oscars now is that you pretty much know who is going to win the major awards. There are almost never any true surprises anymore. There are so many awards shows before the Oscars that you get too much predictive information. Very rarely do you get a toss-up race now on the eve of Oscar night. The closest one this year is Best Picture. Roma is still the favorite but Green Book apparently has a chance. And even so, it's still -200 for Roma and +200 for Green Book in betting markets, or thereabouts.

I feel like there is a strong nominee pool on acting and best picture categories. The only ones I really care about. I just hope A Star is (re)Born doesn't win.

It was a great movie. Despite the amazing visual effects it still felt very subdued. Wish it was nominated for BP.
