The Standings!
Dallas is first place in the WC & The lakers can stay in eighth in WC
I hope the standings stay this way until playoffs because we have better chance against Dallas then we do against Pheonx or Spurs |

Very true.
Of the top seeds, Dallas is a better matchup for us than PHX or SAS.
If somehow we could surge again and get the 6th seed though that's
even better. Especially if that ends up giving us home-court over the
winner of the weak Northwest division. |

guys you think that the regular season is the same as the playoffs, there is no way we can beat DAL in the playoffs. DAL has learned the leason and knows how to beat LAL now by traping Kobe. we may have a chance to take one game away from DAL but not more. so stop dreaming about this and be realistic about the situations. We keep under estimating DAL and not give them the credit they deserve just caz kobe got 62 points, DAL is playing good ball and LAL have not chance other than to get some experiance.the LAL in DEC and JAN is not the same as now because alot of teams figured things out about LAL system and the weakness in their game. lets just hope that LAL ORG can clear some cap with any trade that can give this team a chance to get few player in the next year or so. so, stop making playoff predictions caz it will not work unless Dirk and Howard get injured.. Thank you 
 also Cuban owns Phil did you forget that?????

| SA, PHO, or DAL are going to whip this Laker teams ass in the Playoffs so it really dont matter who we get round 1. Lets see a trade happen and then we can talk about doing something in the post season? |

If we end up against Dallas in the first round I can guaranfreakintee you that the Mavs will be peeing in their panties. Despite their record this year, they still see Purple & Gold in their nightmares. Never underestimate the effect that Kobe has on their psyche. All it would take is a sniff of a chance that Kobe was about to go off on them again and they would go fetal and Cuban would start sucking his thumb.
PS: I would love to see Phil at 6'8" 250lbs walk over to that millionaire midget and extend his hand. Cuban would crap his pants. |

You are ab-so-freakin dreaming. We USED to own Dallas. Right now, they are a far superior team in every aspect than we are. Dallas' previous weakness wasnt it's personnell, it was the coach. Nellie is gone, Avery Johnson knows the importance of Defense and swagger. Dallas is only getting better/stronger... what about us? We have Kobe, big deal... look at last night, he wears down. 7 games vs Dallas, we may get 1 if we catch them napping, but Johson will have them ready. |

I guess you must have been in Dallas during the first two games we played against them this year. What was your excuse then? Oh yeah ... maybe Johnson was possessed by the ghost of Nellie past.
Even surrounded by youngsters, Kobe can beat the Mavs ... or have you already forgotten 62 to 61???? Haven't you ever played the game? There were teams and players far better than my team and me but we owned them. Conversely I played against one of my future brothers-in-law in high school and he was terrible BUT the bastard owned me for no damn good reason other than he got in my head. For all Cuban's bravado, I guarantee the LAST team they want to face in round 1 is the Lakers. And if the Lakers can steal game one ... it's over. The Mavs WILL roll over and take it like the lapdogs they are. |

Dallas doesnt play any defense regardless of what they want you to believe. Not saying its easy to take them but when you play no defense, its much easier to exploit the team. We can take on Dallas. In fact out of all the teams in playoffs right now, id be more conifdent taking on them than any other team.
