Kawhi is playing better than Lebron. So, a core of Kawhi, Lebron, Hart, and you can throw in Ball was actually doable, and we could be looking at THAT right now.
Ingrim is just marginally better. Kuz is probably the same as last year.
We're looking at going into December being a sub .500 team.

I don’t think we would’ve acquired Kawhi for simply Ingram and Kuzma

KL went to a team that is basically the same as last year. He just had to integrate himself. Lebron and the Lakers are almost all new to each other. The Lakers and The King will be just fine. If we continue to lose we will begin to see urgency. Im expecting a W next game.

A team that won 35 games and got rid of one of their best players in randle. And one of their impact starters in Lopez.

I’m hoping for a win next game. I never count out any Popovich coached team plus we will be down 2 of our main guys
Kawhi, Lebron, and Ball, with McGee protecting the rim and Stephenson getting us 10-15 per night. Throw in some key role players and we could have been competing for a title this year.
Kawhi for BI, Kuz, and Hart making a hell of a lot of sense right now...
Yes but we really don't know what San Antonio wanted from the Lakers. Maginka certainly could've beaten that Toronto offer though.
Of course I was advocating they deal BI + filler for PG when everyone said it was stupid since it was a foregone conclusion he was coming here in FA.
Maybe Pritchard or Buford/Pop just weren't interested in dealing with the Lakers regardless since they knew their stars wanted LA...who knows. It is what it is at this point. There's certainly plenty of time left this season for the kids to keep progressing in their development.
One thing for sure Maginka own this current roster at this point. No more excuses about them inheriting a poor roster from Jim and Kupchak.

Prime Kwame would have been a solid backup for McGee, but Ingram AND Kuzma is a bit too high of a price to pay. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

After 2 games it does make sense
But we can’t predict the future. We don’t know how guys will be performing by the end of the season.
Who knows maybe BI Kuz & Hart exceed expectations by the end of this season? If that ends up being the case then obviously waiting to send him an offer in FA is the smart choice.
If they don’t end up progressing or even end up regressing (knock on wood) then yeah we made the wrong decision , assuming KL declines us in FA and assuming Magic didn’t even offer SA much.
