People acting like Rondo is some kind of spitting ventriloquist who can shoot some spit at someone's eye without moving his head and only the slightest flick of his lips.

Try reproducing this without looking obvious and moving your head.

Almost impossible to achieve.

TRUTH

Never know what CP3 may have been doing to Rondo during the game

Rondo should say he was just getting him back for when he spit on him on a drive

BUT.. *2018 Americans are now under camera every moment.. Rondo would have to point to the exact moment he wiped some spit away from himself and looked at CP3

*my local grocery store uses self checkout and now they have cameras right in your face with little lcd screens showing your face the whole time you are scanning stuff.. lame...

CP3 will think twice before choosing off Rajon Rondo again.

I had a bad feeling earlier in the game, when Ingram got clotheslined and it was called flagrant-1 instead of a flagrant-2.
Have to imagine, both teams would've been on better behavior if they saw someone get tossed earlier in the game.

It didn't look intentional to me. Looked like talking with your mouth full. IMO the spitting won't be foremost in the mind of the league. I think it will be the punches thrown. Wonder what the league ruling will be? I think suspensions for Rondo, Chris, and Brandon. Who'll get the most games? I think Brandon, he started the melee and threw a sucker punch.

Except the spit is what theoretically triggered the brawl.

How can you say that when Brandon's push was the instigator? Also at this point the spit is subjective.

I figured there would be some type of tape on it one way or another. Now we know.

So in all this madness the Lakers come out looking like the a-holes. Rondo spits on another player and BI throws a sucker punch.

Not a good day!

and we lost the game...Lakers won nothing in this exchange.

It doesn't look intentional at all, you're wrong. Sorry.
He wears a mouth guard, If you have ever worn a mouthguard you would get why it wasn't intentional...

It was a “gleek” which is spit through bottom teeth. Which can be done with upper mouth guard. Looked like he gleeked on him to provoke the fight. Which then led to the nice left hook to Paul’s nostrils.

That was Josh Hart who got clotheslined. Officiating was garbage either way.

I don't think the suspension length will be affected by whether or not they think Rondo spit. Landing punches is the main issue.

Why are Laker fans harping on how bad we look? The worst thing done in the whole thing was CP3 intentionally poking his finger directly into Rondo's eye and pushing it in!! That is crazy and dangerous....much more than any punch.

That is high spit IQ right there. They needed to really work to find that spit. Tyler Ennis would have somehow spit on his own face.

If CP3 thought Rondo purposely spit on him, he should have been the one swinging.

Well, he was smart enough not to. On the street or in a bar, Rondo gets instantly clocked for doing that.

I think this is what he likely did. Thanks for taking me back to my junior high spitting skills.

I can't condone spitting, but I'm glad CP3 got socked.

Rondo will probably get an extra couple of games cuz of that.

Will the league interpret CP3 poking Rondo in the eye as a punch?

2 fingers jamming into an eyeball is worse than a punch.

Good luck “clocking” Rondo. Dude is not only built like a machine but you can tell he has boxing skills. That left hook was beautiful. Had they not grabbed him and cp3 would of been in the hospital
