Found this elsewhere. Though I can't vouch for the accuracy of data, it makes sense:

Quote:
Kenley Jansen's cutter vs. his slider this season.

The first number will be the cutter. The second will be the slider.

Basic numbers:

Times thrown: 590/90

BAA: .243/.042

SLG: .456/.042

H: 33/1

XBH: 15/0

HR: 7/0

Whiff%: 28.6/41.3

Advanced stats:

XBA: .216/.154

XSLG: .389/.188

WOBA: .316/063

XWOBA: .283/.170

Average Exit Velocity: 85.3 mph/79.9 mph

Launch Angle: 20/9

Spin Rate: 2561/2394

PutAway%: 23.0/32.1

Horizontal movement vs. avg(inches): 2.8/1.3

Vertical movement vs. avg(inches): 2/4.2

For Decades, Relievers Pitched Better Than Starters. Not Anymore.

For more than 40 years, relievers had outperformed starters on a per-inning basis. But this season, through Wednesday, starters’ ERA is 0.02 points lower than that of relievers. Starters have not posted an ERA superior to that of relievers since 1973, but that gap has shrunk rapidly, and this year it could be potentially erased. As recently as 2012, the overall ERA of relievers was half a run better than that of starting pitchers.

Overuse of analytics. Overuse of relievers and pitching changes has caught up.

From what I heard, Baez sucks and isn't as good as Jansen this year.

Jansen against 3-4-5 of the Yankee order in the 9th. At least Judge is out of the way.

My God, what a gift that is. Yet that is an example of how much I hate the shift in that situation. That should be a simple base hit, with that defense. Not a fan of that defense in the 9th inning.

Welp, that's 2 baserunners already. Good ole Jansen.

I love the confidence/patience Roberts has shown in him these last 2 years.

I'm sure things will turn around for him any day now.
