Keep last year's team and add a couple solid veterans and we are probably a better team.
I never would have believed we would be where we currently are....never. It is not like were were totally healthy last season either.....Ball and Ingram missed a lot of time.
If we would have just brought back guys like Randle and Lopez instead of guys like Lance and Beasley.
and last year's team would be the 2nd worst team in the west with a worst record this year. A bunch of teams made a jump in improvement this year making wins much tougher to come by. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi

What if we still had Russell, Randle, Lopez, and Lou Williams to go along with this current squad? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Lopez came in the Russell trade so he’s out. Let’s assume they still do that trade. Starting lineup of Ball, ?, Ingram, Randle, and Lopez with Williams and Kuz off the bench would be amazing and probably good for 7th or so in the west with insane potential. The SG spot can be filled with numerous players. I’ve never hated anything as much on the Lakers as this FO. That team would also likely attracted Kawhi giving us Ball, Kawhi, Ingram, Randle, and Lopez with a great bench going into next season. Just thinking about it makes me depressed. Or even if they traded Ingram? Ball, Kawhi, PG, Randle, Lopez. Oh my.... They could have gone in any other direction but they chose the worst route possible.

It's not based on talent. Take away injuries and botched trade talks and this year's team is a lot better than +2. Lakers were in #4 spot before injuries hit.
We have old complaining LBJ and bunch of low IQ guys. What to expect.
Bad coach.
Terrible defense.
Low IQ players.
Stupid FO.
That possibly the worst combination you can have. Complete disaster. My biggest concern at the moment is that we have old LBJ with awful contract.
I just hope we will keep Ball Ingram Kuzma and start to build something after LeKing is gone. They will be in their best years.
Three more years to go. Cant wait to see his contract ending.
I just cant understand why they didnt push to keep Randle. Just pure stupidity.

Last year's team was fun to watch, and they were way more disciplined on defense. Struggled early on but found their groove. They played like a .500 team w/out the injuries. BI and Zo getting hurt derailed the season. That's 2 of your top 3 guys.

I agree we would be better, but that 4th spot we held was only couple games out of the 9th spot at the time.....so it is a little misleading.
