I enjoyed the first two episodes of "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters" on Apple+. I'm not into Kaiju films anymore and thought all the ones they've released since 2014's Kong:Skull Island started out okay then got progressively worse.
In the first two episodes, Monarch is developing into more of a thriller with monsters as the backstory rather than being straight up monster movie.
Yeah. It's about a family dilemma. The wayward father is interesting. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

The new season of Fargo started on FX/Hulu. 2 episodes are available. I watched the 1st and definitely got me hooked. It stars Ted Lasso’s Juno Temple sporting a thick Minnesota accent, and John Hamm, who had minimal screen time in episode 1. Starting episode 2 at the gym shortly.

Fargo is fine. I used to consistently have it in my top 10 every year there was a new season. But this new season isn't really exciting me to that level. Still a good show thouhg.
Slow Horses is the best thing on TV right now IMO. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

I tried getting into Slow Horses and gave up after 30min a while back. I’ll give it another shot.
HBO Max has a new series named Bookie staring Sebastian Maniscalco. He plays a sports bookie in Los Angeles. Two episodes are out so far, pretty funny, it seems like they actually put some work in to writing the jokes.

It may not be your type of show. It’s an espionage show. So there’s more dialogue than action. I do think the Gary Oldman’s acting is high quality. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”
Finally began watching Slow Horses. Has been on my radar for a while. Kikanga motivated me to check it out.
Three episodes into it. It's very good. My kind of show. Production is top-notch. Great performances, especially from Oldman. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid!
Mayor Kingstown, started out strong then kinda meh in the middle, kinda too far fetch to have that relationship with bunny but then BAM, riot… it’s back to good, on to season 2

It helps that Sebastian is a stand-up that sells out arenas. I'm sure he has a ton of input on the script. I'll have to check it out! _________________ KOBE

Reacher season 2… as a team instead of a lone wolf… it’s not bad, the ‘meat head’ character is more apt _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“

One of the greatest televised sports moments:
Presentation of the NBA's 50 greatest players of all time during halftime of the 97 all-star game at Gund Arena in Cleveland. I have watched this regularly since it aired and it never loses juice. As I age and as these guys die off, I get more emotional upon every viewing.

Season 2 also close with a bang _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“

I do not fine him funny at all and thinks his accent is his joke. To each their own I just never understood how he has such a big following

But his most recent special was good.
Yep, one of the better standup specials in a while. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Simple, unbelievable yet you can’t stop binging lol, it’s entertaining, such a leisure watch _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“
Did anyone watch that Jack Ryan show? Wife and I have been watching Reacher, and have started Jack Ryan while we wait for episodes. Jack Ryan feels like a superior show with a similar super hero lead character, and it has Bunk Moreland!
