Calm down. Vogel is a good Coach.
He took that young Pacers team to the ECF! He can develop talent
Kidd is insurance and he as others have said will placate LeBron. Coach up Zo and potentially Kyrie if we get him

We’ve had more press about the assistant coach than the head coach. It’s easy to see how this ends.
What I don’t understand is why didn’t they just hire Kidd who they’ve clearly wanted all along? _________________ Austin Reaves

Don't believe Lebron wants to further sully his image as a coach killer.
Do not recall Kidd being mentioned as a mentor to Ball last season. Kidd may be on the Lebron time table and may be gone when LBJ is. Last edited by PlantedTanks on Sat May 11, 2019 3:06 pm; edited 1 time in total

All good. I preferred him to Lue. The roster he had in Orlando was an all time worst time of lineup and he achieved a lot in Indy with a pretty meh lineup. Kidd is fine as an assistant, hopefully we add ALOT of talent to go along with Kidd. Good hire. Last edited by Fortysixn2 on Sat May 11, 2019 3:08 pm; edited 1 time in total

Lebron seems to be team Kidd.
This should go well. Let the proxy war begin.
Pelinka --> Kobe
LeBron --> Klutch
Jeanie --> Rambii
I think Pelinka is more aligned with Jeanie than against her, so it might just be LeBron vs. everyone else.
So was Kidd hired as a part of the Vogel camp or does he have nothing to do with Vogel and was just hired to appease LeBron?
Why is Kobe still involved with the Lakers organization when he's retired? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

What's funny is he took this laughably short contract and the guy still is going to get fired before it's up. _________________ 14-5-3-12

Who would have thought that a role player like Kurt Rambis would one day run the organization into the ground? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

He is a good coach....you cant deny that. If they put a decent staff around him, this could work out well. Just my 2 cents.
