I believe DLO has said his dad is a huge Celtics fan. |
He had a taste of LA already, he wants some that again. Them ladies are hard to skip. |
LoL. Wowsers.
I'm actually OK with DLo's agent using the Lakers to bump up his value since I believe many teams see DLo as a fallback plan after the Tier 1 and Tier 1.5. |

So, would BK basically need to sign Kyrie for us to be able to get dlo (i.e. renounce his rights)? |

#Lakers set meeting with D’Angelo Russell. Club working towards setting meetings with defensive specialist and a lights out shooter also has interest. To be continued.... |
Hard to tell who Fred's source is though. |

Pretty interesting - was comparing Kemba to dlo. Always just assumed that dlo was a better shooter than Kemba, but it looks like their percentages are identical across the board. |

Trying not to be a downer on every source pluse I like Fred, is this somewhat legit. Some of the rumors should have some legs because aren’t the teams trying to get a feel which players are thinking before the start to free agency? |

I'm guessing it's Pincus. Everyone steals his work. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

He’s been involved with the Lakers for years, it’s not shocking that he is in the loop. |

Another plus to bringing Dlo back - post-Lebron, it opens up the possibility of Banana Boat, Part 2 in LA down the road with KAT and/or Booker...pretty important given all the draft picks we gave up... |

I'd rather have KCP than Beverley... Pat's getting old and KCP can score way more if he gets hot. I like Beverley's intangibles... but I think KCP adds more true offensive threat. |

Idk if Fred's sources are legit or not, but yeah, this close to 7/1 a lot of things are already hashed out or close to being done behind the scenes. _________________ Under New Management |

Truth be told, Beverley's got 1 or 2 more years max at this level of defense...maybe less. But he's going to want to get paid as much as KCP. For me if their salaries are the same, I'd rather keep KCP. He can get hot and has decent defense. He's also decent on the fast break and can shoot off the dribble and in catch & shoot situations.
Beverley is a decent 3pt shooter, but outside of catch & shoot is pretty much useless on the offensive end. If cost is the same, I'd rather have KCP. |

I know we aren’t allowed to post Arye stuff but he was the first person who mentioned about the Lakers meeting with DLO then Fred Roggin confirmed the meeting, give credit were it’s due. |

Yeah, everyone is biased because of KCP's bonehead plays... and Beverley has evolved into more of a myth than a player. If you look at it objectively KCP is the better player and we don't have enough talent at guard to have only a spiritual leader. |

beginning to think we are going to add Dlo, Seth curry and a "Defensive specialist" - beverly. something like 27 for DLO, 6 for beverly and the room for seth curry. korver for the min.
AD
Kuz
LBJ
DLO/Curry/Korver
BEV
not a bad top 7. |

I wouldn't be surprised if Roggin just saw Arye's tweet and ran with it. Though he did add a new tidbit about the other two mystery players the Lakers were trying to line up meetings with, so he could have a different source. Until someone more reputable runs this, I refuse to get my hopes up that we actually have a solid plan for the cap space. |

By RPM Beverley has been the much better player - one of the truly best defensive guards in the NBA and a smart offensive player who knows his limitations. _________________ Under New Management |
