YES! He isn’t the defender he once was, but he’ll still put up 15 points a night on nice shooting if his form in Memphis is anything to go by

Great pickup! I think he starts

PG: LeBron
SG: Bradley
SF: Green
PF: Davis
C: Cousins

KCP isn't injury prone as AB

Badley 6"2
KCP 6"7

we need one more 6"7+ guys that can play D

In what world is KCP 6’7”? And the way you listed them was at 6 inches. TMI maybe? 🤔

It seems that Bradleys recent drop off the last 2 years has been due to various lower body injuries. Looking at his stats if he can regain his 2016-17 form this would be steal

@LakerFilmRoom does Avery Bradley meet your requirement that the Lakers need a guard to be considered contenders?

@LakerFilmRoom
No. It's been a few years since Bradley's played well & I think he's a vet min signing at best. We're basically hoping he gets back to the player he was in 2015-16 in 2019-20. And I hope this doesn't take us out of the running for Iggy. Wish I could like this signing but I don't.

Tldr: we wasted our Room MLE. Becoming decreasingly confident in this "Rob is a genius" rumor.

1. I know he's discarding the Memphis sample size because it was small.
2. I know he's ignoring the Doc Rivers affect

What's the Doc Rivers effect? Why didn't it hurt Patrick Beverly?

And why wasn't he good in Detroit?

Didn't he put up 15PPG in Detroit? I mean, look at the Det stats and the Memph stats, and they are very similar. Then in the middle are the clips stats. 9PPG, worse shooting. Bookended by good shooting and 15+ PPG. Looks like the Clips was just a bad situation.

His TS% post Boston was below 50% which is pretty abysmal. It went back up to Boston levels in Memphis. Hoping that's a sign of things to come and not a small sample fluke.

Excellent Pickup! I think he'll be a great fit and Kudos to Pelinka! I think we're genuinely 2-3 deep at every position.

C - Cousins | McGee
F - Davis | Kuzma | Dudley
F - Lebron | KCP | THT
G - Green | Caruso | Daniels
G - Bradley | Rondo | Cook

Though in terms of rotation, I will play Caruso ahead of Rondo mostly through the regular season to preserve playoff Rondo.

I had the Clippers right there with us.. maybe slightly ahead because of questions at the PG position. Picking up Bradley answers those questions for me.. and I now feel we are ahead of the Clips!!!

Keep the last roster spot open in case another vet (maybe Iggy) gets released.

Bro, KCP is a SG-PG... and we aren't paying KCP $8m (4th highest salary on the squad) for you to push him out of position into SF as LeBron's back-up to make place for Caruso as a 2nd option in some position on your list instead of being the 3rd PG option behind Bradley/Cook.

I agree KCP is a 1/2 and not a 3... as I mentioned earlier, when he subs in you probably slide Green to the 3.

But ask for your second point, I have Caruso ranked higher than Cook... based on the rumor mill, the Warriors probably do too. I am willing to bet that it won't take too long for LG to start crying about Cook's defense.. or lack of it.

Avery Bradley is a tough-minded player, a good professional who has the respect of people I respect. I think Justin Holiday would've been a better fit for the Lakers.

Glad he has the respect.
I thought Holiday would be nice too.

That if he he does not play smart, he’s gonna be watching.

Once he start jacking 3s on the break, sit yo ass down.

Commit fouls far away from the basket. Sit yo ass down

Foul a jumpshooter. Sit yo ass down

Gambling on the passing lane and get burned. Sit your ass down.

Play a hero ball. Move further from the bench

Complain. You’re outta here.

So it's the headcase insurance policy. Basically what they did with McGee and Cousins. Sign two unreiable guys, hope you get the production of one.

Nah if he’s healthy , he’ll beat KCP on the starting gig.

Bradley/Rondo/Caruso
Green/KCP/Cook/Daniels
Lebron/Iggy?/THT
AD/Kuz/Dudley
Boogie/McGee

Kuz will still play scattered 30 minutes and be that microwave off the bench . AD will play Center mostly in 4th quarter. Rondo will play whenever Lebron sits. Caruso will beat Cook and Daniels in the rotation. KCP to be traded before the deadline . Cook or Daniels will sparring used for zone buster role and one of them be waived for buyoutsz

He was talking about "guys that can play D".

D = hip lingo for dick, which is slang for penis.

The way we’ve filled out the roster it seems like LeBron and AD are going to be spending most of their time at the 3 and 4 respectively. Not sure how I feel about that. I’d would’ve liked to see another true wing

Meh. It's been what, 3 years since this guy was last good? Do we really have an analytics department or are the just ignored? I'm assuming this means we think we have no shot at Iggy since we usually keep one spot open throughout the season for buyouts.

Really ? The guy averaged 16-4-3 with Memphis last year .

All we need is 3 and D from him. I think he’ll be fine in that role

In 14 games. That's not a very reliable sample size. FG was 46% and 38% from 3.

People used small samples to talk about BI/Lonzo all year last year too.

Great signing. He's like Lonzo with good defense but could shoot free throws. Nice!

Show me the rings, baby!
