Giannis is not a LeBron guy, he's not coming to the Lakers; waiting
on someone who's not coming is pretty funny to me. _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team !
I wish we'd move on from the 2021 plan already, we're not getting Giannis just because of his personality. He doesn't want to team up, he wants to dominate.

I don’t know what drives Giannis. But I do know what drives Jeanie, Pelinka, Bron, and AD. They all want to be the very best at what they do and they all have the means, timing, and positioning to achieve the prize of that drive. It’s no secret that all of us want Giannis, but our talent has made contingencies should Giannis not choose us. Kostas knows how South Bay works, he can tell his brother, first hand of the kind of farm system we have future forward. Giannis knows the power of our brand name in terms of legacy. We have shown our talent this off season by how Rob is able to make deals work. He’s able to see how athletes are able to have input into plays and how superstars have input into personnel selection. And Giannis knows we have a coaching staff that does not take nights off. I think we sell ourselves everyday. And I think Giannis knows generational talent like his deserves the best the league can offer in terms of platform.
I say this to Lakernation only; as we all respect Giannis as an adversary for the time being. But to say Giannis absolutely needs the alpha role flies in the face of his team first mentality. I really don’t think he buys into that narrative. And I don’t think this Lakers squad does either. Strength in numbers means everyone step up. I keep using the Spartan analogy. In a phalanx, every man is accountable for the man next to him. One weak spot in that chain, and the phalanx shatters. Everyone in this franchise must be a champion to hang banners. This is the way. _________________ DEAR BASKETBALL

I originally thought the same thing. I saw this video when his brother Kostas came home after the championship. giannis was so proud and mentioned that his brother was the first NBA Greek champion. And that he was mvp. He said they keep it going.
I think he wants to bring Greece some recognition. After all Greece isn’t really known for this stuff and they are pretty proud of Kostas being champion eventhough he didn’t contribute. Greece isn’t looking at it that way.
So I wouldn’t be surprised if Giannis goes to the Lakers not just to make a super team but perhaps to win multiple championships to make his country and his family proud.

If he wants to win multiple championships, it isn't happening in Milwaukee. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

if we are being honest, even if Giannis signs a 5 year deal to stay with the Bucks, 60% of Lakers fans will believe we are on the verge of trading for him by next season.
