Being able to go to the hollywood bowl every summer and pay no more than $15 to hear one of the world's finest orchestras is one of the fundamentals that make living in socal great.
Bittersweet news: Maestro John Williams is now down to conducting only the last 1/3 or so of his annual "movie night" show, but he's set up David Newman to carry the show when...well, let's not worry about when.
