LOL, well, I work 9 hours Mon thru Thurs and then get every other Friday off...!

Most every Holiday that falls on a Monday, I have the Friday off before, so I have like 7 4-day weekends a year!

That's like having 26 extra days off a year, and when added to my holidays, sick days and vac days, the total is about 53 days off per year...!

I had a brief period where I had 10 hours a day for 4 days and 3 off. My gawd, 3 day weekends every week was just bliss.

I don't know what it would take to make the 4 day work week a convention but man oh man...

I know some ER nursers who work three 12-13 hour shifts a week. They have more days off than on. Lucky bastards. But normally it's spread out so they don't get 4 days off in a row regularly.

worst are the nurses who do that and then have another job working those same 12 hour shifts 6 days out of the week... I'd hate to have my life in the hands of one of those a sleep deprived nurses
