I am guessing there is zero chance that Gruden approved that call to be recorded and published. It seems like it would be a mistake for anyone to ever trust AB...he never can or will see past what is best for him.

AB requested a release. That's the unexpected I predicted.
CTE? A definitive diagnosis can only be made through an autopsy after death. Scientists are working to further understand CTE and to identify ways to diagnose CTE during life. I hope a procedure is found.

not really sure what kind of procedure could be done.....my understanding is that they can see potential in MRI's, but they literally need to slice and examine the brain to diagnose.
But, I do not see CTE being an issue for AB at his age. This is diva WR stuff....we have seen similar stuff before. Recall the crazy stuff Terell Owens use to do?

That's why there's a field of science. To explore the unknown. They're looking for a way to diagnose before death. What does age have to do with CTE? Antonio Brown's been taking hits for 10 years. The protocol in place now is relatively new. How much damage was done and gone undetected? Yes he's a diva. Name another that's gone to the extremes he has. Was this AB's end game plan all along? If a deal is consummated it will be a test for Belichick. If AB blows this I officially declare him a cracked walnut.

They have been trying to see if certain proteins or enzymes in the blood can be an indicator. They have found a compound in the former players that they have examined but havenât had success with live players. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
