The Warriors disapproved you needed a big man and in fact their style of play may have made the big slower big man obsolete unless you can shoot a 3.

When have slow big men been an advantage? Duncan? Gasol? Dwight? Shaq? Slow big men haven't been en vogue like ever near as I can tell. Either they can shoot or are fleet of foot for their size or both.

Dray is in serious decline, his body no longer able to produce what is being asked. His defense is in decline, his shooting is in decline. Eric can't yet match an in decline Draymond never mind a prime Dray, so when Klay and Curry get healthy again they won't even have 1 prime Dray to pair with.

And speaking of Klay his defense won't ever be the same after his ACL injury. Will still be a great spot up shooter but he won't ever be the same on the defensive end of the court.

Which means when the Warriors return their defense, which at their peak was intimidating, will be a fair bit … softer.

I bring good tidings everyone!!!

I have in my very hands conclusive evidence that Kawhi and PG has turned the Clippers into a POWERHOUSE.

In 2018-19 after 23 games the Clippers were 16-7
In 2019-20 after 23 games the Clippers are 16-7

And there we go. Holy crap man. The difference these two superstars have made ... it's like night and day.

So the Clippers, Mavs, Rockets, and Nuggets all with 7 losses and the Lakers 3 losses.

A big gap for the Lakers and I am surprised no one else in the west is closer.

I think Vogel May have summed up the FO strategy in his post game interview tonight. It is about “putting together a group of players that compliment each other not just a group of talented players.”

It seems like the Lakers took the former strategy while the Clippers more of the latter strategy.

With Klay and Curry not on the court, there is no need for Dray to play hard and risking injured. We can pretty much say, he is on court just to play the game without the intention to contain anyone. And I am not sure if the ex Lkaers PG is really injured or not. They may want to keep him healthy for trade purpose.

I agree that Klay might not be his old self defensively. Still, with improved casts and what they can possibly get thru trade(s), they can still content next season.

They are tanking now for sure.

He was in serious decline last year when they were playing hard, but it was disguised because of the sheer talent they were able to field.

You'll see it next year more clearly.

OH MY GOD! Two thirds of the Laker bench was inside the 3 point line when the ball was live and nearby. How disrespectful! *Tsk tsk*

TRez looks solid at both ends. I can see what Logo saw whenever he’s running pick and roll with Lou.
