Ho-hum, just another friendly neighborhood Saudi terrorist. At least he wasn't able to make it to his final form of hijacking an airliner and crashing it into a skyscraper.

If this terrorist wasn't a Saudi, Trump would be calling for an all out ban on Muslims. But instead he quickly defended Saudi Arabia, saying "they love the American people".

Why do you say that?

They got into a shootout with some jewel thieves while using civilian cars (with people in them!) as shields which resulted in the death of a UPS driver hostage, a father of two. All for some damn heavily insured sparkly trinkets and because trigger happy moron cops think they're Al Pacino in Heat.

You know who else uses human shields? (bleep) ISIS.

This is an honest question. Are cops prohibited from shooting back when being shot at?

Did they know there was a hostage in the car?

I didn't know the civilian car with people in them part. The link that was provided didn't mention that.

Quote:
Officers responded to the scene within a minute and a half of a silent alarm in the store being triggered, but did not exchange fire with the suspects there.

The robbers then hijacked a nearby UPS truck, abducting its driver, Hudak said. A fleet of law enforcement vehicles gave chase in a pursuit that was broadcast across the country.

The chase was "terminated" 20 miles away in Miramar in Broward County, Hudak said.

News helicopter videos appeared to show a person falling out of the truck after several shots were fired.

They Keysor Sozed the whole situation. Basically, Someone took a person hostage, and to stop the criminals from using the hostage against them, they gunned down the hostage (and an innocent bystander) down themselves while killing the criminals. That’s all well and good when you’re a fictional ruthless criminal mastermind, but not when you’re police officers who are supposed to uphold the law and protect the public.

unless it is a different quote, Trump did not say "they love the American people", but was quoting the Saudi King...

Exactly. Wow
Remember Christopher Dorner
Police Officers Who Shot at Two Innocent Women 103 Times Won't Be Fired
https://www.theatlantic.com/national/archive/2014/02/police-officers-who-shot-two-innocent-women-103-times-wont-be-fired/357771/

Totally in agreement with above two posters roasting these cops for killing two civilians

DOES THE WORD HOSTAGE mean much?

Helicopter could have followed them everywhere
Betting the UPS truck had full blown GPS tracking on it

All for some (bleep) (bleep) trinkets Insurance was gonna pay for anyways.

And the Costco shooter would've loved to have joined in this

Appreciate defending your Dear Leader, but either claim is preposterous. Saudi's were responsible for 9/11. They dont love Americans.

The critical thing here is not whether Trump said it or whether he simply quoted it. The critical thing is that Trump is beholding to the Saudi's, which is why this administration has done nothing to follow up on Khashoggi murder by the Saudi's.

At no point has this country been as compromised by corruption involving foreign countries than it is now. And people on the Right not only just sit back and accept it, they excuse it and welcome it.

Completely negligent and incompetent police work. They are extremely lucky there weren't more bystanders and cops killed by friendly fire.
