Added bonus would be another solid piece to add to the AD/Kuz core post Lebron. |

Would b a home run pickup for the Lakers and their best non Lebron lead ball-handler by a mile #Lakers |

The thing that probably should be discussed is the locker room politics. Rondo is well liked in the locker room. He is viewed as a leader on the team. So much that Vogel has played him big minutes when it has shown over and over that Caruso has a better impact on the team.
What kind of issues would Collison coming in and taking Rondo's minutes cause? If the ultimate goal for AD and Lebron is a championship. Then hopefully they would be on board and manage the locker room accordingly. |

The BEST player gets the minutes...I'm sure they would understand that. |

I've been saying for awhile now that Collison would be the perfect point guard for this team. Cut Daniels and Sign Darren |

Collison/rondo/Caruso
KCP/ Avery
Lebron/Danny Green
AD/Kuzma
Dwight/javale
Load manage rondo here and there to rest him while simultaneously getting Caruso minutes. Same with one of lebron or AD with Kuzma getting the extra minutes when one sits.
Danny Green is 6’6 and better suited to play the backup 3 than anyone else on the roster right now. He’s that 3&D Wing off the bench we have been waiting for _________________ “like I never left”

Waive Troy Daniels if he's available.
Javale/Dwight
AD/Kuz/Dudley
Lebron/KCP/THT
Green/Bradley/Cook

That would be my rotation too... Our starting 5 gets the secondary ball handler next to LeBron, a consistent 40% 3pt shooter, and a good defender who can also get out and run in transition. Our bench now has 4 very good to elite defenders + Kuz.
Scary good but if he went to the Clippers, that's a tough one to over come. |

If we could only choose one between Collison or Iggy, who'd you guys rather get? _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Collison. Playmakers, shotmakers, they're harder to get than wing defend guys |

Collison. We need a penetrating guard to take some load off Lebron. |

I either have a close relationship with those that I have mentioned or they inspired me to work harder. Obviously, I never have had the accolades they have. But they gave me a benchmark to work toward, and I’m truly thankful to them for that."
I see two Lakers and no Clippers in that list lol |
That's a great sign that he mentioned LeBron and DeMarcus by name. Hopefully he has a personal connection with one or both.
Getting Collison for vet min when he was looking at 10-12 million would be amazing good fortune. Shoots the 3 at 42% rate over the past four years. He could make the difference between winning a ring or not. Did he like playing for Vogel? Lakers need to do everything possible to sign him.
He played for the Clippers and Doc for one season. He said he left because the Clippers didn't make him a top priority like the Kings did.
"The Kings were the most aggressive team by far in the free agency, and I respected that on all levels,” Collison told The Times in a phone interview Wednesday. “Of course, I was trying to make it work with the Clippers and tried to re-sign with them. But I didn’t think they really made me their first priority like the Kings did.”
