I have journaled strange symptoms ever since my first infection, and they include:
Momentary shortness of breath unrelated to exertion or posture. Relationship to diet is inconclusive. For a tenth of a second I feel some kind of "palpitation" or spasm that takes my breath away, and then I'm fine. It comes in waves of weeks at a time every 2-3 months. I have undergone 2 full cardiac stress tests, comprehensive bloodwork, several ECGs, and a 10-day holter monitor...according to those, things are perfectly normal. A couple of doctors have dismissed these things as anxiety. Covid hasn't yet thrown in as a possibility.
Cramps and cramp-like sensations that started in my right calf, then moved to my right thigh, and then to my left calf and thigh, then to my forearms, unrelated to exertion. These lasted about 6 weeks and have mostly subsided but I still feel one every now and then.
Episodic, body-wide shooting "ghost" pains. It's not soreness or tenderness, it's not cramps. More like appearances or flashes of pain in parts of my body where I have never experienced pain before, , such is inside my collarbone, the middle of each buttock, the area between my forefinger and thumb, my scapulas.
Unexplained joint stiffness. One day a couple of weeks ago I woke up and my right shoulder was inexplicably tight, and to rotate/stretch it generated crackling/crunching that could be heard from behind a closed door above the sound of running water.
Numbness/perceived weakness in my left forearm, middle/ring finger, numbness and perceived weakness tingling + pins/needles in my right shin down to the top of my right foot that made me fear that I was slowly becoming disabled (uh oh, do I have ALS or MS?). These particular symptoms subsided after a week, as did that fear.
Raynauds syndrome in a few fingers and toes in cold temperatures
as of the past couple of days: momentary dizzy spells/lightheadedness, icepick or cluster headaches (never experienced these before)
I have a few specialist (neuro/rheumatology) visits scheduled where I will ask for more testing and MRIs.

I appreciate for sharing your documentation of this. The wide range of these, their severity, and their persistence long after you were infected is bewildering and alarming. I hope the diagnostics reveal some concrete solutions and that you find relief from all of these conditions. And that you have good support. |

| Quick healing for you CMB. I too have suffered neurological issues, it’s hard to pin point it as I was a heavier drinker but I didn’t start noticing pins and needles until I had Covid, which has impacted my memory a little bit imo. May be MS or possibly cervical radiculopathy. Still awaiting more testing. Been having an issue for about a year now. |

I got the latest Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and flu shot today. No after effects from either. Just the normal ache at the injection point. Good to go until the CDC comes up with another update.

Yesterday I experienced my first ever side effect from a Pfizer COVID-19 booster. On my daily walk, I got lightheaded, got winded, and sensed a loss of balance. I'm OK today. I assume that was normal. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon I'll share it with my doctor.

Hope everything checked out and you're back to normal. 
(I had the Pfizer booster and did not have any side effects. I haven't had side effects from any of the shots.) |

Night 1 and day 2 were painful. Night 1 I had intense and frequent heartburn, especially while laying down to sleep. I had heartburn in my dreams. Prior to this, I hadn't felt heartburn in at least 10 years. The heartburn continued through to day 2 but decreased in intensity and frequency, but then came upper and lower belly pains and bloating. Strongest reaction yet for me as well. I was going to get the flu shot the next day but I put it off to today because of the discomfort.
FYI if you get your shots at Walgreens, they will give you $10 per shot with a rewards account.

I did flu and the new booster at the same time, same arm. Arm was sore a few days and I was a little fatigued the day after, but that was about it.
What was dumb was I was able to get mine from a pharmacist at CVS. My wife at the same CVS had to get hers from a Dr at the Minute Clinic at the CVS because her insurance won’t pay for pharmacists at CVS to do it. Same insurance as mine, Cigna with CVS Caremark, but hers is from her employer and mine from mine. |

I got the Pfizer booster when it hit the market. I experienced vertigo the next day. It lasted about 3 hours. This was the 1st time I had any reaction to the COVID vaccination or booster shots. I'm up to date with CDC vaccination recommendations. I took the flu shot along with the COVID vaccination.
I get my shots at Kaiser. I don't feel comfortable getting them at pharmacies. I'm comfortable at Kaiser because you're asked to wait 15 minutes after the shot to see if you have any reactions. If you do I'm comfortable because Kaiser is a hospital with all the necessary equipment to treat reactions.

Got my Moderna booster on Monday. I had mild flu-like symptoms (fatigue and feeling feverish) on Tuesday that were similar to the ones I had after the first two doses of the primary vaccine in 2021. I still have a tiny bit of soreness at the injection site, which lasted longer than with previous doses. Hopefully these side effects are a very good sign as far as the immunity I'm starting to build.
These vaccines are a miracle. I still almost can't believe they not only successfully made them to begin with, but that it took less than a year. Thanks to all of our brilliant doctors and scientists for getting this pandemic at least somewhat under control.
