Can we somehow pull it together with only 30 games remaining?

We already did in their homecourt. Or do you already forgot the back to back win @ Denver & @Utah?

Denver and Utah have greatly improved since last meeting against Lakers so this would be a "quality" win if we won but every time I said that we lost, so...

Yea, I wanna see a quality convincing win against a quality opponent. No more GSW and Phoenix or another G-League opponent beatdown.

I'll give you Utah, but Denver was 13-4 when the Lakers beat them in their house (8-2 at home). I'm hoping for a revenge game for that 24 point beatdown they put on us on 22 December, but I have a bad feeling about this one.

The big difference between then and now -- is Jokic.

He was out of shape to start the season scoring like 15 PPG in the first couple months. Now he's at 28 PPG for the month of February.

Feels like we've been oddly poor against centers as of late too.

I can see the desire but I can also see reasons for the Lakers to come out flat because they are looking ahead to the all star break.

Why would you choose a game against the team that is right behind us in the standings when they are about to get 8 days off? That seems kind of backwards.

It depends, if they just wanna take it easy its gonna be a loss anyways

These guys still are not all their mentally. This all star break will do wonders for them. Not expecting a win tonight but hey maybe they come out ready to go. The time off will be good for these guys to refresh their body and minds.

I'm surprised to see that the Lakers are favored by 2 1/2 points in Vegas.

Now this game is a real test. Denver is 38-16. I'm looking more at Vogel now than I am the team. I know what we have on the roster.

I'm fixed on how Vogel uses what we have. Rotations, load management, command of the locker room etc. When I mention command of the locker room I mean not allowing Bron to dictate his minutes.

It's more about making the playoffs, which is almost a surety. I'd like to get the #1 seed but it's not as important as is going into the playoffs healthy and rested. Rivers is doing what I wish Vogel would do, use load management.

Probably because of the injury report. The tough part about playing in Denver is that the Nuggets are usually very deep and can handle the attitude. But they’re missing a starter and two important bench guys today.

They aren’t getting 8 days off.

If you say so champ.

If I'm counting right that's 8 days. Lakers have the same amount of time off.

I think you may be overstating. What if that cost is a injury to say LBJ or AD? It's still regular season, we're only 11 games past the half way mark. I say be smart, preserve the health of Bron and AD. Without either our chance to win the Larry O'Brien is just about nil.

OT: The Bucks are showing they have a ,,,,, in their armor. They're losing big to the Pacers 27 51 without Giannis.
