Awesome D by THT as 1st quarter winds down.
Lakers up 35-14
Lakers shooting 50% from field and 3's, Rockets have not broken 30% on either.
While I suspect the Rockets shooting will get better, the first quarter was really dictated by the Lakers D. Just about every starter had some nice D play, and then Trez and THT also did the same. Hope this keeps up, watching defense like that is just plain awesome. |

Not trying to turn this into a Harden trade thread but where does he want to go that’s better than his current situation? No one with a title shot has the assets or cap space for him. Young team with upcoming potential probably don’t want an aging superstar that’s unwilling to play D. So where? |

Man, Harden doesn't look in it. It doesn't help that the Lakers really look like they know how to guard him.
KCP guards him really well, and AD and Lebron really know his tendencies well to challenge him. Then you bring in Caruso who played him really well last year, and THT who can disrupt him even easier.
It just really isn't looking good so far. They're due for a hot quarter after that bad shooting in this one, but credit the Lakers D |
