Yeah, it’s weird. I can’t figure out if he did exactly what he intended to and is waiting with a move after Putin’z response or whether he over commited and is trying to salvage

This is just a pause. It isn't over until Putin or Prigozhen dies.

Yep, Putin isn't one of those guys who lets these guys live. He's gonna utilize the Russian state assets to get him.

Killing Prigozhin might be too risky for Putin. He probably could have done it already as he knew exactly where Prigozhin was the entire time. Prigozhin has a constituency (as seen by the enthusiastic response in Rostov, contrasted by the protests when the Russian police took back the city as Wagner withdrew). He also has an army. Wagner is popular in Russia. There were literally billboards in Russian cities promoting Wagner and asking people to join that army.

What could have happened is that both Putin and Prigozhin didn't know how the coup was gonna play out. Putin didn't know how much support he had left, Prigozhin didn't know how much support he had in Moscow (he could have been betrayed by some that promised to back him initially), so this "negotiated" agreement was the best outcome for both. For now.

Putin's caught between a rock and a hard place. He can't kill Prigozhin and he can't let him live. Wagner's a strong army. Better trained and equipped than the Russian Armed Forces. They wouldn't take kindly to their leader being killed. He can't let him live because it will make him look weak. I don't think Prigozhin will be satified about retiring in Belarus. Russian politics are in unchartered waters.

Ukraine defense saying Russian forces have planted mines in the cooling ponds of
The nuclear power plant

Russia plan to blow up Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant has been “drafted and approved”
Kyrylo Budanov, chief of Ukraine’s military intelligence, warns of a dangerous escalation
.

Quote:
According to Budanov, who leads the Main Directorate military intelligence organisation, the cooling pond of the plant has been mined by Russian troops. Without cooling, the nuclear reactors could melt in a period of between ten hours and 14 days. He believes Russia would be able to raise the voltage in the power supply lines to the plant, bringing about a nuclear accident at the lower end of that time frame. As Budanov put it during the interview, “Technical means could be used to speed up the catastrophe.”

If Russia did anything like this I would wish their people prove their humanity
And tear the Putin administration apart piece by piece and burn them alive on state television

ALL THIS just to steal lithium and other natural resources along with an important naval docking port?

When can Ukraine start lobbing missiles inside Russia

This is just constant war crime after war crime

You don’t abandon laws just because criminals don’t follow them.

DID SOMEONE SAY "WINDOW?"

Russian bank executive, 28, dies in mystery plunge from window of her Moscow apartment

Kristina Baikova, 28, who was the vice-president of Loko Bank, fell out of the apartment window on Khodynsky Boulevard on the evening of June 23 . . . He claims that Kristina contacted him asking him to come for a drink before he "went out onto the parapet and fell down", BAZA reports. Truth.

The attacks on Ukrainian civilians and massssssive flattening of cities and villages makes me so angry.. Especially when I don't see any harm being done to the country of Russia.. ZERO

Not one sanction ever brought a life back or made a school or church reappear after being bombed.

If China and India keep the war going Russia can just keep lobbing missiles repeatedly until Ukraine is rubble...

After reading this article I wondered if it could be compared to what's going on in Ukraine.

Amnesty International is a legitimate website. I can't vouch for its creditability.

Good read. Disturbing.

Prigozhin's loyal Wagner troops may be a reason he's still alive, if he in fact is.

WORLD

Russia won't say where Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin is, but photos purportedly show his raided home

LINK

Quote:
The Kremlin has played down the fact that Prigozhin escaped punishment for his mutiny while other Putin's critics have been met with harsh prison sentences, exile or even death, saying that the deal with the Wagner chief was necessary to avoid massive bloodshed.

The Belarusian leader shrugged off suggestions that Putin might order Prigozhin killed, saying: "If you think that Putin is so vicious and vindictive to finish him off, no, it's not going to happen."

His fate was sealed once Putin guaranteed his safety after he gave up his rebellion. Should've gone thru with the rebellion at least he would've died for the cause.
