I'm guessing they'll either slide over Olynyk or just start Azubuike.

isn't Lauri Markkanen their center?

Utah Jazz set to be extremely shorthanded vs. Lakers for two games this week
After being one of the surprises of the season, the Jazz’s season is likely going to end with a whimper as injuries will leave them very short-handed in two games against the Lakers this week.

He starts at SF if I remember correctly.

No reason at all for either of these games to be competitive.

D’Angelo Russell is listed as probable for tomorrow’s game at Utah, after missing the second half of last night’s win at Houston due to left foot soreness.

Anthony Davis is probable, and LeBron questionable.

So early question for Wed....does AD sit out the second of a back to back? I hoped we learned our lesson in Houston a couple of weeks ago. I assume he is off restrictions....that game still pisses me off. It is crazy what one game is doing in these standings right now.

If he sits out the biggest game of our season for no reason it would be an unthinkable mistake.

This, no way he sits out after what happened last time.

If I’m him I view it as lock in a top 6 seed with some wins and you get your foot a week off and no extra wear and tear from the play in.

I don't know. First, it's the medical staff that have advised he sit out B2Bs. Even if they say it's completely fine for him to play, for him to play for the FIRST TIME ALL YEAR on a B2B after having not done so AT ALL before is tempting the devil. Even disregarding any physical aspect of it, mentally there could be second-guessing.

Would you rather him play so they can MAYBE win the game...and MAYBE get injured?

Or would you rather him not play so they can MAYBE win the game...and GUARANTEE he does not get injured?

AD probably plays both the Jazz and Clippers game.

Bron probably only plays the Clippers game.

My guess

No, their SF. Olynick is their PF.

Should be an easy win. Should be able to put them away early and cruise to a big win. Should be able to rest starters by the 4th quarter.

Just take off business. It should be a nice solid professional win by a veteran team.

I really don’t want to be talking about the “ worst loss of the season” tomorrow.

Gotta keep the same focus & intensity for this one. Can't take Utah lightly, they're quite pesky and always play hard no matter who's playing for them.

Utah fans have this marked for their QFTOS. Not saying you’re wrong, but the “East win” part is all they’ll see 😂

The betting line has gone up. It was Lakers -7 yesterday and today it's Lakers -9.

Walker Kessler ROY candidate and shot blocking specialist is their Center. THT has scored 41, 28, and 32 the last 3 games for the Jazz. No Clarkson chucking since he’s out. Jazz have come close in comebacks last couple
games too in 4th. Even if THT has big game, we have a WAY deeper roster and should win.

if Lauri plays, this game won't be easy. he is 7 foot.

Walker Kessler is out with concussion too. THT getting 25-30 shots tonight. He’ll get his, but we should run away with this over 48 minutes.

I thought I saw a story or comment that the medical staff gave him a choice of which late-season b2b to play a second game, Houston or Clippers, and he chose to play the Clippers, thus sitting out Houston. Don't recall the source or legitimacy as it's been a couple weeks.

I do think Davis will play and beat the Clippers.

Typical.

If I had a penny for every time a Lakers coach said “He could have played, just precaution” lol

Surprised about Markkanen. Thanks Danny boy.
