Gabe Vincent is 0-9 from three so far as a Laker. I guess this is just the Gabe experience. He can catch fire or just miss everything.

Lakers shooting curse is undefeated so far.

Not sure I've ever seen such a large +/- spread for two guys on the same team before. 45 pts...
KD +18
EG -27

Prince is -29 in two games and Woods a +25. Wow.

Nice. I was yelling here where are the rebounders.
Ham is an idiot.

Off these first two games I’m really trying hard not to look at DHam’s coaching as the cause of our bad play.

Rotations aren’t terrible. No Vando tonight but barely beating the suns without a Prime Book is sorta embarrassing but whatever. Sloppy start to our season to say the least LOL

The 10 minutes it seemed like the Lakers might spend the MLE on Gordon was one of the most harrowing periods of my life.

Christian Wood’s defense and rebounding in the 4th played a big role tonight. Now only if he can hit his shots.

Because Goodwin blew by him multiple times in the first half and Vincent didn’t let that happen the second half. Same way he trusted Denis over Dlo or Vando when it came down to it. Vincent out played both guards on defense

It’s the starting Prince when he could have started Rui … I think that’s just a cop out for Vando to be able to start

It’s also the playing Reddish and Hayes mins too when Rui can soak up all of them when in reality I think his preference is a bench of Vincent, Prince, Rui, and Woods

Because Gabe was actually good, while AR was not. Gabe did a great job playing hard nosed defense and gave us great effort plays and helped us get some baskets by getting to the ball and getting some assists. AR got picked on while he was on the floor and didn’t play all that well overall. AR has had a disappointing start to the season thus far.

Yeah, yikes.

Take the W early, but we have A LOT of work to do.

Against a Booker-less suns team, got to win by 10+. I’m not even counting Beal as I don’t think highly of his impact.

The defense that helped hold the Suns to only 11 points in the 4th quarter. Gabe played really well today despite clanking everything that wasn’t a layup. AR did not.

Night and day difference for KD.

Barbecue Chicken when Taurean, Austin, or Cam is sticking him compared to CWood with AD help side LOL

The one that said +13 while AR was a -11 and you had Goodwin blowing by him and KD hunting him on switches. He was a weak link defensively versus Phoenix. He’s not a good matchup vs Phoenix this game or in the preseason where they pick on him. Russell and Vincent were better. If we are being honest Reaves should not have even closed the game over Russell at all based on his defense or play. It’s a very bad matchup for AR and you can say it’s a bad one for Rui too especially when they go small because Rui can’t keep up with KD like Bron or AD. KD called him out by name in the preseason like Denver called Russell out, he figures he can bully his ass

That 4th quarter run was impressive but dangerous.

Can’t play like dog S#!T for three quarters and then make Lebron and AD play the entire 4th quarter like we’re in the Finals.

Darvin has some serious work to do

It was dangerous sure but it’s good he didn’t just give rotation minutes to Reddish or Hayes or Prince like he used to do last year to start the year when they played bad. He was horrible with that with Russ, Bev, Gabriel, and all early on when they were losing left and right because he had rotations in his head.

And at least he finally said (bleep) it Bron at point and AD with another big. That is always going to be a formation that brings the best balance to AD. Bron looking like a point will always feed him and get him easy ones and another big helps AD by actually going to rebound next to him and getting his man when AD plays fire blanket and helps everyone.
