Not a believer.

Devin Booker looked lost out there. This is the same guy just last season who was putting up 33 ppg with no sweat

I’d look to trade Beal if I’m the suns. Book flourishes well with unselfish high defensive wings like Mikal Bridges.

KD is already going to take 15-25 shot attempts away from Book. He has to do too much defensively nowadays

Plus Nurkic is good but they need help in the middle

They struggle against us mainly due to we have defenders to throw at Booker and KD, but once Beal comes back, AR or DLO would have to defend him. Also AD is just a nightmare for them.
Booker struggled this game due to our length, but he is having a good season

I just don't see those 3 working well together. Specially with no point guard on that team. They also get smaller and weaker defensively with Beal back. Also only one ball. Those 3 are iso players.

Sure KD is an icon but don’t sleep on BI.

He just got finished tuning up the Kings, Sixers, and Clippers this past week.

They were also without Wutanabe and Lee, those guys provide quality minutes

Watantabe has been in their dog house.

I thought he was helping them out this year.. guess I haven’t been paying a close attention

I don't think this team is much better with Beal. I feel like they're going to be freezing each other out. It'll be hard on their role players, Grayson Allen went insane tonight but he isn't going to get as many shots playing with those 3.

I think if Booker is their permanent point guard they're going to have trouble. He seemed pretty shaky out there under the pressure of Cam and Vando. Even TP was giving him some trouble at times.

I don't think that game would have been as close if it was officiated better. It felt like there were a lot of missed calls tonight, but everyone will be talking about the timeout as though that would have been the difference in the game

We could’ve blown them out if not for the stupid rotations in the first half and the slow start in the 2nd. They only made 2 runs the entire game

The other thing is Beal is hunt worthy. He was the worst starting defensive 2 in the league the past couple years. He’s never put focus on trying on that end.

I do think it’s weird to see these games back to back days and then the other regular season games just happen tomorrow

I would have worried more if the Lakers were playing in New Orleans, hopefully the game being in LA and playing the Lakers gives him the gitters

Ham need to figure out that starting unit...

Only 17 points combined for DLO/Prince/Cam. That's not not going to get it done. It's not like were going up against a power house defensive team.

With fully healthy team I think he might be the odd man out.

A fully healthy team includes Gabe so Hayes could be right there with him. I could see them thinking small with Rui and Vando as the bench bigs and the Gabe, AR, Max thing off the bench.

Three superstar iso players that can get you a bucket anytime .
Which I must say again Frank Vogel actually has a system in place to get them easier buckets.

Working smarter not harder.

It looks like darvin only coaches defense which to his credit was amazing in the first half.

I know Rui and Vando just got back but they deserve more burn.

CWood DNP…… DAMN

They have better depth than what we faced tonight. I would venture to say that they have the Nuggets blue print with a big physical athletic front court and wings that can shoot. I saw how we looked vs Okc and the 76ers and I still see some delusional people on here.

If Vando got more burn in this game it would've been an easier win. This wasn't a TP game

Glad we got clutch Austin this game, though

It’s also how much energy the two put out chasing from the start with Book and KD. Dlo was into it but Booker basically took him out when he took his legs out. He just didn’t look right after compared to when he started before that moment.

Cam and Prince put out so much energy on those two. And if we are being positive Dlo had 0 turnovers out there compared to Booker and KD throwing it away. But I think Ham will need to find a rotation with people healthy which is why I hope Vincent returns before the month is over

Negative.

BI just dropped 30 in cowtown Sacramento’s house last night.
shutting the beam down

I’ll bet my left pinkie that he’s going off on us Thursday. Just gotta keep Zion and company in check. Specially their spark plugs like Murphy and Alvarado……

The pelicans are a much more well rounded ball club than the suns, kings, and I’d even say over the mavs

Yeah, it’s sort of weird when you think about it. Bridges, Chris Paul, and Ayton got them a finals appearance and then 64 wins the season after. And they got rid of all them rather than trying to make another run.

There is no need to over analyze on 2 scheduled losses here. It is not like the pelicans are lighting the world on fire. They lost to the bulls and twice to Utah in their last 3 games. It won’t be easy, but we have a chance

In case you forget: Lakers have the best advantage as the only team who doesn't have to play in a different time zone than their home floor...
