GG much closer than Laker fans were predicting.

Lakers only had 2 playmakers for the entire game, and they both had rough nights securing the basketball.

The TWolves would be a very favorable playoffs matchup for the Lakers this year.

History tells me no. They seem to only go for it when there is an obvious benefit (i.e. money)

Yes, looks like it
Damn the dodgers will be LAs number 1 team soon

I had a feeling he might sign here after reading he and Ohtani were hanging out together.

Not hard to understand, fellow country man, lots of Japanese in LA. Closer to home. Better broadcasting time for Japan. $$$$ off the field

$300 million. He and Ohtani will give the Dodger a great 2some.

For 12 years, so not bad
Damn the dodgers spent more than 1 billion in one offseason

But now the Dodgers would fairly get ALL the criticism the Yankees get for being "overspenders"...If Dodgers don't win it all, they should be ripped hard. Always.

It’s just hard to win in baseball, the hottest team always wins (just look at the last WS)

Nope, can't back out of this...Dodgers have the highest payroll in the league by a mile...If they don't win it all they are a joke and its lame.

AR wasn’t a playmaker himself with the 5 assist to 4 turnovers and the gaps that came with his unit to start the second and fourth. He’s got the worst +/- of all the perimeter guys for a reason, he’s turnover prone and gets lost on defense. Even the last play where gobert scored he went so far under on the screen that he wasn’t on comely and he didn’t stick to Rudy. He did the same thing versus Ant in the second half too where he was 10 feet away from him and Ant drained a three because he never made a rotation. He’s got to do better on both ends besides being a foul merchant.

You cant watch that game and say he played well. He scored 20 but he played a horrible floor game when you compare him to Conley on the other side when they were out there.

Another thing is Ham can’t justify playing Vando at all right now. It’s been 7 games and he’s scored 7 points total and shot 22% out there. He’s a liability short of playing him the 10 mins behind AD and perma benching Wood and Hayes. Vando was a 5 in Utah and he may have to be that here if he’s going to shoot that piss poor and offer no spacing

I never said he played great, just curious to see the big split consider DLO struggled even more.

Ham got shot in the face when he was 14. Is that the reason he has a knot on top left of his head?

The split came because Russell played the fourth. He’s routinely when Bron has played has been benched in the fourth when AR and Bron start the fourth as AD sits. Dlo doesn’t get 4th quarter minutes lot of nights. But it’s hard to justify Hayes, Vando, Max, or anyone getting minutes over Russell, Rui, Reaves getting 25 - 30 a night … Prince especially in the road games earns his minutes but the other front court guys not named Rui are all being played to try and find something be it Max, Woods, Hayes, or Vando and none have earned the time.

He’s better on defense than Wood. He’s better rebounding than Hayes. He may have to suck it up like he did all last season in Utah and play the 5 when AD sits for 10-15 minutes. It he’s offering nothing as a backup wing when he’s shooting so poor his guy is sitting in the paint.

Pressure of home team expectations.

He can’t hit for nothing in staples but he’s Klay and Steph deadly away from there … all his percentages go up across the board. I mean before tonight he was 49% from the field, 44% from three, 77% from the line on the road. Those numbers go up after this too

Indeed, shame Ham barely plays him in it. Benching the guy whose the reason the team does the "Ice in my veins" after hitting a big shot is probably not the smartest decision. But Reaves is a closer too. Just Reaves lack of defense means if Ham wants to maximize defense on the wing he has to finish with either DLO and a defensive wing, or Reaves and a defensive wing.

Personally I think he should finish games with DLO, Reaves, Hachimura, Vando and AD when LeBron isn't playing. But what do I know.

Craziest stat is the 3 day rest number for him … he’s shooting 65 from the field and 63 from three

Last year it was Denis, Dlo, AR, Rui, AD when Bron was out. They miss Denis because he would get into you like Cam or Vando but he would fight screens, push the ball, attack the paint, and get teams in the penalty so AR being a foul merchant paid off more.

The article I saw said he was shot in the jaw so I think he just has a funky head. I know a few guys who started losing their hair and then realized their heads were like that. Or had the raisin head like Battier.
