Couple guys looked bad in the 4th. But we knew grizz were going to press and fight. That’s the best way to beat us. We are great in spurts but we are lazy and play like we don’t care. Sad loss. Maybe we beat clippers if they take us to light.

Starting to tremind me of the season Kobe averaged 35 ppg with Chucky Atkins alongside him. We lost sure but people found many ways to SHHH on Kob.
Like the wtf else is he supposed to do? |
AD has been great, but the reality remains he’s a great player on a team who is currently likely gonna battle for a play in spot all season long, and it’s been that way for couple of years now |
Other than the championship, what has he really done for us? I contend that it has been nothing and he should have blocked all of smarts and JJJ's shots over Lebron while he was guarding Biyombo under the basket. Is he stupid? Like what do I not pay you for?
I think we should have gone under even more screens so we can give more wide open 3's to a team that is shooting over 50% from 3 |

Ad is not our problem. He is exactly who he has always been. We know he’s not an alpha. Maybe he’s a leader behind closed doors but it doesn’t seem like it. We need a guy players want to follow.

I don't think we need an alpha, whatever that is, but we have that in Lebron so we maybe don't need two?
I think we just need a defensive scheme that takes advantage of his unique skillset. AD is a unicorn defensively. A guy that can guard all positions who has elite shotblocking/contesting ability. We should make the other team go toward him. Them shooting 3's has to be way more comfortable.
This is like if we had Hakeem Olajuwon on our team, and our defensive gameplan was denying the dribble drive. What? Let them come to Hakeem. If they want to shoot over him then good luck.
I've seen it far too often when players sag off of shooters to help inside. Are they high? Or is this a gameplan that is coming from the coaching staff? If this is from the coaching staff then stop it tomorrow. |
