The Lakers have - among other things - sucked at rebounding as well, so I don't see them flipping the switch tonight.
The Lakers are the worst offensive rebounding team in the league and they currently sit at no. 18 in DRB%. A complete free-fall. Inexcusable for all that supposed height. |

Unless the ball falls on them, nobody, and I mean nobody outside of Vando crash the offensive boards. It’s so annoying

I suspect we'll play lackluster in the 1st half and get down early. Then make an effort to actually play in the 3rd, couple highlight plays to appease the crowd...then fall short in the end and take the L.
Stop me if you've seen that movie before

I won't say this is a must win but if we lose this - it means we'd have to beat Milwaukee and Minnesota this weekend.
Going into this stretch I thought we had to take 2 out of 4 against Denver, OKC, Milwaukee, Minnesota.
Then we HAVE to win the following:
Wednesday vs Sacramento
Next Wednesday at Sacramento
Next Saturday vs Warriors
03/18 vs Hawks
03/22 vs 76ers
That'll have us at 40-30 with the following schedule left:
vs Pacers
@ Bucks
@ Grizzlies (Must win)
@ Pacers
@ Nets (Must win)
@ Raptors (Must win)
@ Wizards (Must win)
vs Cavs
vs T-Wolves
vs Warriors (Must win)
@ Grizzlies (Must win)
@ Pelicans (Must win)
You get the must wins against bad teams and teams we're competing against for the 6-10 spots and go 2-3 in the other 5 games and we'd have a record of 49-33. If we finish with that record, I think there's a damn good shot we're in the 5th or 6th seed. |
