Please.....the Lakers were ALWAYS better.

True but I guess I always knew the Lakers were better than the Pels and a big reason the Lakers and Nuggets last year become stagnant is with a lead, its natural to let the gas off a little bit against a team you know deep down is inferior and thats when I like to call the fake comeback happens. Sometimes the inferior team wins 1 game down the stretch due to the shot variance and energy of the home crowd (2008 Celtics vs Hawks Game 4 Joe Johnson game) and they COULD have won this game but in the grand scheme of things, I really wouldnt have minded even losing this game. But its clear the Pels even if they won this, are the inferior team |

The pelicans did not win 1 game this season where they trailed entering the fourth. Zion, BI, CJ wherever … they don’t close those games. They are winless in that scenario |

Call me crazy but we didn't play our best basketball. Big when we can win in a dogfight like that. Building up that big lead was essential because we just didn't have consistent offense we could go to when we needed it.
I think we match up well with Pelicans. I hope Zion is healthy, and they can get deep into the playoffs. I like most of the guys on that roster, and it would be great if we could meet them at some point if we're somehow able to get by Denver. |

Very good win... Usually hard to beat the same team back 2 back on their home court. DLO stepped up tonight.
Glad they were able to win a bad shooting game from Lebron and AD.
Defense has looked way better last 2 games tho. |

Saw it coming a mile away. Pels have no clue how to win against competent teams. This was the perfect game to bet on given the line.
Good for the Lakers, but I feel bad for Zion. Got injured and his teammates had nothing to show for it. This is the difference between poorly run orgs and bottom of the barrel ones like NO.

They are also the one who's putting their franchise on ZION, who's been very injury prone to start his NBA career due to weight issues. |
