its getting ugly for them, it almost seems like they have collapsed defensively the last 2 games. they always play just enough defense to score more points than their opponent. but lately, they have been just horrible, a lot of it is probably the amare/no amare dillema, as well as they are working back in brian grant into their rotation. i thought bringing back amare was a bad idea for them, and still think it will only hurt any chance they have of going places in the playoffs.

All we have to do is keep pounding the ball into Kwame Kobe & the others will cut to the basket or stand at the 3 pt line

we have to be careful not to shoot that many long jumpers, that is what ignites all the suns' fastbreaks...i think too many people on this board overrate the suns, everyone saying we're going to get swept. this team is kind of reminiscent of the mavericks and kings of a few years ago, great regular season formula, but not one that can get it done in the playoffs. though i do think the suns are a better team than either of those old teams, they had similar philosophies and styles of play.

I know it's basically a pipe dream at this point, but did Memphis lose to Seattle?

I think the Suns are basically on cruise control. They clinched a playoff spot.

The suns are probably not very motivated right now since they are pretty much guranteed a second seed and have no hope of moving to the first.

Clinched or not you don't get pounded by 40 one day then not try and get some respect back the next and get beat up again by a really weak team like the Bucks...

no trust me, i watched the game, they definitly didn't "give" that one away, they played their usual style of jacking up as many 3s as possible and played no D (didn't work too well), and couldnt stop anything in the paint

We will beat them because they do not rebound the ball, which is real important in the playoffs.

Last nine opponents, rebounding margin:

PHX
-16 Mil
-20 NJN
+2 Den
-7 Port
-19 Utah
-28 SAS
+12 LAC
0 Sea
-15 Port

-91/9 = -10

LAL
-7 NOK
+1 Mil
-2 Sac
+1 Bos
-7 Cle
+11 NJN
+12 Minn
+1 Sac
0 Sea

+10/9 = +1

We will kill them on th boards and win the series!

That's a way long shot, but still mathematically possible.
