LOL ( a t ) That Taft video...Derrick Taylor is a very good coach, he was my coach as well. I was on Farmar's team in high school...Definitely the leader type with a very cocky attitude. From the videos, I get the feeling that the Lakers are trying to surround Kobe, with the guards that will really help him out, for the forseeable future.
Pinnock seems to bring the defense we need, but he also looks very athletic, and intense, on offense. Farmer brings some good handles, and instincts. If you watched that Taft video posted above, you can see what they talk about in the article about how passionate Farmar is when it comes to winning. Reminds me of Kobe. I also like the fact that Farmar has an extensive library of video on the best point guards from Magic to Chris Paul.
Also it impressed me that Farmar wasn't going to UCLA at first because he though Steve Lavin was to easy-going, but changed his mind when a tougher coach, Ben Howland, came to UCLA. Speaks a lot about Farmar's character to want coaches that will push him, and Farmar's own willingness to lead others.

Wow, the part about the intensity causing his teammates to misunderstand him really does sound just like Kobe. Love to hear about his work ethic and perfectionist tendencies, as well.
