I'll say:

Bynum: 18/9/4 blocks
Farmar: 16/10 assists
Green: 20/6/4

I'll say:

Bynum: The thread will degenerate into whether or not Bynum will be an all-star or the next Sam Bowie
Farmar: It won't matter because the thread will degenerate into whether or not Bynum will be an all-star or the next Sam Bowie
Green: It won't matter because the thread will degenerate into whether or not Bynum will be an all-star or the next Sam Bowie

Now THAT is funny!

And yet so true. Farmar put up 16/11 and it barely went noticed in the last game thread. Green may have been the best player on the court, and again, just circular arguments about Bynum.

It doesn't exist where you come from, you don't even recognize the most basic of references to the sport, and yet somehow you feel confident enough in your knowledge of it to know that it "sucks ass"? At least if you have an opinion about something, you should know what you're talking about.

this is why i've cut down on my posts on LG. my first post simply asked what the sentence meant. just like americans think soccer sucks, africans tend to think the same about baseball. get over it. i think im going to stick to just reading stuff instead of posting.

I hope it doesn't deteriorate into that type of thread. So long as people don't spout conclusions, either for against any preconceived ceilings or floors, I think we should be fine.

Ultimately, it would be nice to get excited about the improvements these guys are showing, without people putting them down because expectations are perceived as too high so others feel a need to "temper it"; or others lifting up the players to too high a level at this point, because someone else is poo-pooing on their potential and they feel they need to set the record straight. I'm sure we all just want to get excited about what happened tonight and what these guys showed.

Sucks that I had to miss tonight's game - hate not having first person insight for this last game. Ugh...plus the waiting just sucks...

It does not.

Current MLB might, but the sport itself does not.

Don't run off. You're posting in a U.S. thread. People will assume you'd know the game and then likely get a little put off when you insult our American past-time. Other than that, this is a basketball thread. You're a basketball fan. You're a Laker fan. You're most welcome...just keep the insults to a minimum and all is well.

Dude, that was like his 8th game in like 10 or 11 days.

Give the guy a break.

He shot 10-10 with 25 points last night, and the guy needs a break...
