Besides JFK why not?
Just because it was Hip Hop music doesnt mean ot wasnt relevant. IMO he can definitely be grouped with Lennon and Elvis. |
Dude - did you not see that I said Cobain was a much better comparison to Tupac than Lennon or Elvis? It has nothing to do with the fact that Tupac was a hip hop artist. I said nothing about hip hop being irrelevant. Don't put words in my mouth. Tupac simply wasn't around long enough to be lumped in with Elvis and John Lennon, no matter how great anybody thinks he was or would have been. Both of those guys have basically a whole lifetime of music that they left behind. It's not a knock on Tupac, it's just the facts. If LeBron James died tomorrow, no matter how hard ESPN would try to convince the world, it just wouldn't be right to put him in the same category as Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson.
