I haven't been to either, but my guess is since Universal is focused on movie sets and stuff, I doubt they'll make anything really special for halloween. From what I've heard, they decorate Knotts completely for halloween.

Knott's Scary Farm is usually great.

And the thing at the Queen Mary is nuts, as well. The whole ship is setup like a maze with people everywhere scaring you. After cruising through the ship, you're let out into a club/party they've got setup in some main hall on the ship. Haven't been for a few years, but last time it was killer.

Halloween Horror Nights has always been extra extra fun for me, There's so many zombies hiding all over the place you don't know when they are going to pop out and scare the shhh out of you. Plus this year, they're allowing people to take the tram and get out at the Psycho house, where they've acctually re-created a psycho maze. I hear it's pretty badass. Must check it out if you've never been.

I agree on the Queen Mary suggestion I always have fun there and it aint as crowded as the other 2.
