I was visiting a friend of mine in Glendale and she took me to this place called QQs, and I thought it was a great deal for less than $7.00 per person. It was during lunchtime. They had a nice variety of selections. I especially enjoyed their egg-drop soup and dessert section with all those fruits. Their sushi kind of sucked but whatever, if I wanted to eat good sushi, I know of many great places for it.

If you guys like buffet places, what/where are good places in SoCal, and what are the price ranges for these places?

For good buffet's you gotta go to Vegas, but Firs in bellflower is alright, and most chinese buffet are good...China Palace in West Covina is tight, they got a big spread of seafood, and they also have a Monglian grill in the back that is included with the buffet.

Buffets are never a good idea.

Expensive buffets are almost never worth the money... yes, even the Bellagio buffet.
All you get is indigestion with a crap of mediocre food.

Khoury's is the spot. As far as some other buffets, I am guessing that stuff sits there under a heat lamp for a few days until it turns brown or is eaten. At Khoury's, they're pretty much catching it off the back deck and bringing it in fresh. Yes, it can be costly, but it was well worth it. Hell, the little band they had playing in the back was worth the $40.

And yeah, Khoury's is WELL worth the 40 bones, and you're right, it is freh as hell and they have the prime rib mixed in so you can grub down on that along with the lobster! That is a nice band, too, if it's the same house band from about a year ago.

I love Onami, I've been going there for like 17 years, since it was Todai (me and my friends still refer to it as todai)

The dinner at the Torrance location is unfadable, and its still 25.95 if I'm not mistaken (its been a few months)

Best Vegas buffet has to be Rio's...decent price with a great selection.

Now, for price - The Orleans brunch at $8.95 on Sundays - RIDICULOUS! Good selection.

The Harrah's has a nice dinner buffet for the price, I think it's around $25.

It's always been on deck whenever I've gone, maybe you went on a bad night?

Paris buffet mainly consist of French cuisine...alot of butter and creamy stuff. If you want a great buffet, try the bellagio buffet. Best in Vegas.

I've actually been many times. maybe a dozen times or so and I've done the village seafood 3 times....that sucked too.....it was free/comped so I took it. I would never pay my own money to eat there though.

Cool, thanks. Now I have heard the Bellagio has a great buffet, so I will definitely check that out next visit.

Oh ok, I can dig that then. And yeah, I have heard the Village Seafood Buffet is a bit overrated and not as "fresh" as they claim.
