The Lakers had to learn this lesson after losing to Milwaukee..and now USC is learning the same harsh, valuable lesson..NEVER underestimate your opponent..no matter how bad they are or how everyone says they have no chance..play as if your playing the best team in the league

Well it's good to know that with this year basically under wraps for USC we're looking at a much better team next year and UCLA still remaining mediocre (or about there). I still think USC still pulled off great things considering what most people thought they would be less than this.
Oh well. Hats off to UCLA. Never come out with anything other than 110%

This game is disgusting. It's like USC is being coached by someone else. hey, do you think they'll give the ball to 25 and see if he can run it?

Pete's probably thinking about his new gig in Arizona (NFL).

Gotta give UCLA credit ....... as an SC fan, I'm really not that upset like I was last year because this squad was not ready for Ohio State; and if they had played OSU, the Buckeyes woulda donkey stomped this young SC team.

So they saved me 700 miles and watch a major beatdown in Glendale.

I agree.

If you would have told me that UCLA would stop USC on short yardage plays five times in the game, I would have said no way.

Cowan played a very gutty game, you could look at his stats and say he was average but anyone who watched the game saw a QB playing to win, I give him a ton of credit for not just sliding on his runs but taking hits and making some great plays on the run.

Of course on the other side, just a brutal loss for the Trojans. No other way to spin it, just brutal.

I would like to see Florida vs Ohio State. That would be a great matchup.

So is the BSC championship game locked? Or is there a way that SC can get there?

No chance USC can get to the championship game. They are gonna go to the Rose Bowl.

The controversy waiting to happen is b/w Florida and Michigan.

IMO if Florida wins tonight game by a fair margin, they should go on to play OSU, if it turns out to be close, I don't see them jumping ahead of Michigan. And with the looks of the game, it's going to be tough for the Gators to get a win, let alone a blowout.

So I predict a Michigan vs OSU rematch for the title, with the boys in Florida feeling *shafted*.
