I just don't shave. chicks dig the beard. I trim it now, as for a while it was getting really long and scary, but some facial hair is nice.

shaving is for disneyland employees.

^^and this is no lie. me and friend of mine went for a summer job interview when we were 18. i just finally got a slight goatee going. i mean very slight. these fools said, "your hired, but you know we dont allow facial hair". I went home. moms asked how the interview went and I said, "i aint shaving off my facial hair." Looking like a composite sketch of what a serial murderer would look like without facial hair. thats how guys look when they shave it all off, after having it for a while. still has that little shadow leftover.

shaving is an ass, i hate it. I usually grow it out then shave before its gets ridiculous. That and i like having facial hair, looks better than clean cut i think.

Anyone here can recomend a good automatic shaver, i knew someone who brought a braun, was like the best they has 150 i think it costed, he said it sucked. Anyone found one that is gold and is worth the cash?

I like shaving. Of course, I use a Sensor Excel, which is way better than that 3, 4, or 5 blade crap the companies try to push on ya.

I shave in the shower...have a mirror, my shave cream and my razors. I hate electric shavers...never get a good shave.

So true postandpivot. You never look stranger than when you shave after having facial hair for awhile. I remember living in Mexico for 6 months, didn't shave at all and had a full beard. Shaved it off about a month after I got back and it wierded out all my friends - and me.

I shave my head every 2 days and the face daily. I am rocking a goatee though -- have been for years. If I didn't I'd have a total baby-face. Let's put it this way: a parent once called me Caillou with a goatee! (Parents will understand this).

Anyway, I tried the electric shaver thing (both rotary and linear styles) and it didn't work for my coarse stubble. As much as this sounds like a gimmick, you should try those battery powered Mach 3 razors, especially if you have sensitive skin. The shave is the same as a regular Mach 3 but there's no irritation.

I cant get the thad goatie to close ..I get a few "peach-like" hairs and thats it

As far as shaving,I use a remington..cant recall the model. It does the job right, especially since it only takes minutes. For formal ocassions, I go straight blade for that smooth look.

Oh..and I age GRACEFULLY so If I got without the magnum P I stache, I look like a teenie bopper

Beards (and a healthy mustache) are the epitome of manliness.

... Too bad I can't grown one...

I hate shaving for the simple fact that it's 3 more things that I have to pack when I travel: razor, shaving cream, and after shave.

Unfortunately, when I grow a beard, I make the Geicko cave man look like Brad Pitt. It just looks very awkward on me and doesn't suit me at all. Otherwise I'd let the thing grow for weeks.

I don't use after shave anymore, I slap on some regular Curel skin cream afterwards -- there's no stinging or burning and it's better for your face.

Don't know why, but I've never needed shaving cream or aftershave. I have some of the latter for formal occasions when I want to smell good, but my skin never gets irritated. And especially now that I've switched to using an electric, packing for trips is not much of a problem. Not sure how long that will hold out though, as my father has pretty bad skin that I probably inherited. It's just waiting for me to get older I guess.

Just make sure you keep your mouth shut. Jesus wasn't known for having strange conversations about ninjas
