I have the Vonage small business plan. 2 lines - one for the phone, one for the fax. 50 bucks a month. Free long distance. Every feature you can think of. I love it. Seemed like there were some connection quality issues when I first got it, but those have long since been forgotten. I highly recommend it. If you are going to use a cordless phone with it, make sure it's a decent one. I had a cheap Uniden phone on it at first, and changing to a higher quality Motorola made a world of difference. _________________ I got a fever....and the only prescription is more cowbell.

This is a dumb question but if your internet line goes down then you have no phone connections? |

I have Vonage. However, I always tell people to stay away. Their customer support is garbage. |

^^ Interesting. I've never needed to deal with their customer support team, so I wouldn't be able to confirm or deny that. Makes me sad to hear it, though. _________________ I got a fever....and the only prescription is more cowbell.

Same thing happened to me and after 3 weks and three sets of equipment sent and still it wouldn't work we sent it all back. A ton of calls and 3 months later we got a refund.
The one bright spot was that I got very good at understanding english spoken with an east indian accent. It came in very handy when i bought my Dell XPS. |

I would have rather had the indian call center. I had US people. HORRIBLE.
30-45 minutes on hold MULTIPLE times, then disconnected, redirected...NIGHTMARE.
I have two phone lines with them and a virtual phone number though. If you have relatives or another house out of the country its great though.....save so much money.....i have relatives in the phillipines that have that set up and I set one up in someone's vacation house in Mexico.
BTW, they charge a 25 dollar fee when you cancel your contract (or they did). |
