I read somewhere there is no public ticket sales.

Nope, the NBA treats the All-Star game like the NFL treats the Super Bowl as their meeting with all the corporate sponsors, even when the game is at a NBA teams arena, the season ticket holders have to go through a lottery to get tickets, and in the upper deck at that. So when the game was at Staples a few years back even Lakers/Clippers season ticket holders couldn't go unless they were fortunate in the lottery. If you want to go you'll have to go through a ticket broker/Ebay and pay a lot of money.

buy them on ebay. 2 tickets and gilbert arenas signed jersey and shoes for 3000
