That used to be my favorite show back in the day, with the two undercover ny cops, the black guy and the hispanic guy michael de lorenzo. I stopped watching after they killed him-eddie- off the show by blowing him up. Don't know why but I just remembered the show. Wonder if I can find it on dvd.

I remember that show Ted. It was actually pretty good. I believe it used to come on Thursday nights. I recently seen the "black guy" Malik Yoba on TV somewhere. Also Malik's son in the show "G" is all grown up now. He plays on the show with Damon Wayans on ABC.

Yeah, great show. Very avant garde in the fact that the intro was like a music video that showed you what that episode was gonna be about. Then they had the guest musical talent that played at Natalee's and they always played an old song. Very good show. It went to hell after they killed off Eddie and brought in Tommy Ford of Martin fame...it just got silly then.

Then Fox tried to re-create that type of a show with fastlane starring Bill Bellamy, Peter Facinelli and Tiffany Theissen. It was an ok knockoff but it didn't have the grittiness of NYU.

I think all of you guys are wrong. I think it started going downhill when the lady that was the police captain started dressing up and wearing makeup. It's the subtle things that you never notice that actually do it.

It got all weird after Eddie got shot.....was my favorite show....the soundtrack was so copped.

I stopped watching it when they started making them higher levels...it wasn't really "undercover".....hah, remember the episode with the 2pac type of dude in it?
