I LOVE the Lakers... this is going to be sooooo freaking awesome. We should have a free roster spot now, so hopefully we pick up a PF. This is a very solid move for the Lakers IMO. I know Ariza is good defensively, but I am not sure what he has to contribute on offense. Hopefully this will increase the chance for Crit to get some minutes behind Kobe.

Great deal !

I've just seen him vs Boston : I didn't understand why he wasn't playing more. He was very active on defense , even if only a slasher on offense.

You lose Cook's contract and Mo, whom I didn't like at all.

The deal makes us better financially also, for now and the future !!!!!!!

FYI - Ariza has one more year left on his contract but it's a player option so he's basically an ending deal. Great to get rid of Cook's contract and prevent Phil from the temptation of playing him.
