Would making the top of the page into a frame help a lot with bandwidth and speed? I have always wondered why it has to refresh everytime I go into a different topic and.. if 100+ people are on then it refreshes
1. when you enter topic
2. when you go to next page
3. submit a reply it refreshes two more times or something like that
^^ X 100
Just a thought.. I know little to nothing about site design.. but was just wondering if that could help?
Peace |

Yes this would help reduce bandwidth usage. Could be a good way to limit costs there, especially considering the data up top includes a fairly large image |

Well this reduces bandwidth, with our current design it would also reduce ad revenue significantly.
Our redesign is looking a little trimmer...and the new server should make it all moot anyway. |
