The guy is a proven headcase, and the Lakers don't need him to win a championship. Just think TO and the Eagles. That's exactly what'll happen.

Or think about what happened when Moss joined New England...

Could go either way.
So he can bring to the Lakers that trophy he helped the Kings win? OOPS

That analogy is absurd... So by those standards you wouldnt want LeBron either because he hasnt won a trophy yet? Give me a break...

So Randy Moss to the Patriots (football) is a better anlaogy? Moss probably at least takes his meds.

Im just saying.. Moss going to New England worked when few thought it would because of off the field issues... Artest going to LA could work as well, we really have no idea.

And by you standards, your only willing to sign/trade for guys that have won a trophy?

All D all day.

Who here thinks Pierce wins Finals MVP with Ron Ron in his jersey all series long?

The weired thing about it is that he mentions how close he is with Lamar and it would be great to play alongside him. Does he realize that pretty much if he comes, Lamar goes?

Another point to consider is that maybe his agent is telling him to stay with the kings where he will make more money and obviously the agent will make bigger percentage.

Artest was clearly told to not say anything about his contract or being traded, so he was very cautious about what he said from that standpoint. He did say that he would never want to be on KG's team, because he loves competing against him. Said that when KG came to Sactown this year screaming and pounding his chest after every dunk or block, Ron felt like that was disrespectful. Said he would love the opportunity to compete against KG and match that energy and toughness

LO's future with the Lakers will be a huge factor in Ron Artests' decision to come to the City of Angels.

I missed the beginning but from what I did catch:

-When asked about being ball hog, he says only when he has to (if he feels there are no other go-to guys)
-If he's on a team that can score, he would rather play defense since that is what he loves
-Touched on what he said about KG (lack of energy when losing)
-KG has energy when he wins, but when he's losing, where is that same energy?
-Felt disrespected when KG was dunking and screaming and hype all over Sac King's court
-Looking forward to competing w/ KG again and wants that matchup
-Didn't talk about when he'll opt out- letting his agent deal w/ all that stuff
-Loose Cannons says it's official that LA wants Ron Ron
-Ron Ron very appreciative
-Ron Ron was pulling for LO so bad during finals
-Gave props to the Lakers

I think his interview indicated that he'd only really wanna play for the Lakers if LO stays. The championship prospect doesn't entice him enough (because he said he thinks he can win anywhere). He needs LO there.

Didn't Dr. Buss rule out Artest to the Lakers at some point. Doesn't he still own the Lakers? Doesn't much matter what the Tru Warier wants, a man in hell wants ice water.

Why is Lamar the one that has to go? I happen to think that a front line of Bynum, Odom and Artest is better than Bynum, Gasol and Artest.

Also seemed like his closest friend on the Lakers is LO. Said they've known each other since they were 10 years old growing up in NYC.

If he were willing to take a pay-cut to come to the Lakers and LO is willing to re-sign for less, how do you think that would work?

Why do we have to lose Odom to get him?

He could come as a free agent.

Why not just have all of them?
